Influential RHHS Teachers & why?

Katie Hardin, Latin, a good teacher and great fun (should have studied more); Elizabeth Kee, Louisa Goforth, Rebecca Williamson, and Lucy Good, all English teachers who encouraged me to write; Frances Lloyd, Chemistry (hated chemistry, but she has been a wonderful friend of RHHS Class of 1961 and we all care about her); Judith Bazemore, Garnet and Black adviser who encouraged me and became a good friend later; Rosa Guess, music -- I was a terrible singer but she seemed unaware; Grace McCleave, US History, increased my love of history and she became a good friend of RHHS Class of 1961; Dorothy Amick, History, never had her class but she has been enormously helpful to RHHS Class of 1961 as we have undertaken "history of RHHS" projects like the historical marker -- lovely lady. I am omitting those who influenced me negatively.
