Janet Flick (Stickel)

I love reading the banter.  Always makes my day.

Many thanks, also, to Lucia for providing us with this wonderful Forum.

It's that time of the year when Lucia renews the subscription to the tune of around $150. So to show your appreciation, I'm asking you to send Lucia a few dollars to reimburse her - maybe $10-$20.

Lucia would never ask.   Her address is:

Lucia Johnson
5760 Shillingham
West Bloomfield, MI  48322

Please put Saturday, August 27, 2022 on your calendar.  It's our 50th + 9 golf outing and get together.   We play golf for fun so non-golfers welcome.  Get together afterwards is always memorable.

Thanks for fund raising, Miss Janet!

Also love your message regarding the least stressful, most no pressure golf outing in existence. We have several riders and one notable pilot - our own Mary Strauss who pilots The Music Man around the links - so put us on your calendar for the last Saturday of August golf or not, it is so fun! As a nice side light The Pontiac Country Club (way less fancy than it sounds) is owned and run by a long standing Shrine family, so synergy in play there.

Lucia, can I Venmo you money?

Please do not think this is only for golfers:  Dick and I don't golf but show up around 4:00 just to see everyone and have a fun dinner with those wonderful people who helped us become who we are.  We have all changed, but I think the growth was only for the better.  No pretense,no groups, just friends . Come and give it a try if you are in town.  We would love to see you all again.

Mary Ann,

Thanks so much.

I have a venmo account, have never received funds, only used outgoing mechanism for grands at college. In October my account was hacked, there were many fraudulent paypal payments and a $3,700 Venmo fraud attempt for payment which was foiled and alerted me to the problem. Thinking all should be back to normal. What do you need from me?

p.s. got all my money back, but it was a giant pain in the neck (as well as lower) closing accounts and reassigning auto payments etc.

Lorrie, I'm with you - the wine beats 'em all.  Any kind of wine goes with cake and/or ice cream, so we can have them all if we so choose.  OB, the decaf can be real trouble - stick with a wee bit o' Scotch.  Janet thanks for the reminder to all about our reunion/golf outing and I appreciate the advance notice.  Kathy, well expressed on the outing - we hope that many of our classmates are reading this.  Looking forward to seeing you and Dick again.  Lucia, your foresight and putting this Forum together have made a HUGE difference.  MANY THANKS!!!!

The happiest of birthdays possible to Kathy Kehoe.  You were always so animated and were kind to everyone, a blessing to the rest of us.  Very artistic, too, as I recall.  So, do you live in Livonia or Estero, or do you have a dual homestead?  If you're in Livonia for the warmer months, we'd love to see you ease on up to Pontiac and visit us at our mini reuinion, I know that I'd like to see your smiling face.  A Merry Unbirthday to the rest of us as we struggle through Lent.  I have my hands full as I'm giving up Brussels Sprouts and the gym.  I did cheat a little bit as I expanded Fat Tuesday into Fat February.

Kathy,

Hope your day was a great one. Sorry for being late but had a long and busy day away from home.

Livonia is a great place, my dad had a grocery store there for many years, I think it was on

Biddle ave.

Hope you had your favorite cake and ice cream. The nice thing about birthdays, it's perfectly allowed on birthdays.

Happy Birthday, Mary Strauss, everyone's favorite pixie!!  You're getting cheated out of an hour this birthday courtesy of Daylight Savings Time.  I think that we ought to celebrate that missing hour this August at our mini Reunion/Golf outing.  It's always so good to see you there brightening the day with your warm smile.

Lucia, we all wish you the happiest of birthdays, here on Pi Day.  We are so glad that you had the insight to put this Forum together so we could all stay in touch.  I'm looking forward to seeing you this August and I hope that you can swing the clubs pain free.

Another year and another ring on the tree. Here's to Lucia's birthday and wishesfor a wonderful day and a better year ahead.

Hope we have the worst behind us and only rainbows and pots of gold for us all.

Thank you for your work on this forum. It brings back a lot of memories, I think for a lot of us that use it.

May the Lord keep watch over you and on Thursday, make it a great day.

Enjoy your cake and ice cream and the best for 22.

Happy belated Birthday with Pi and icecream to Lucia !  And I finally am back on the page after much difficulty! I've been able to read along and not respond another lesson on keeping my mouth shut !

Happy Birthday Rob Sullivan (Radofsky)!!  I hope this finds you with the pubs open, your instruments in fine tune, yourself in fine fettle, the music and banter flowing and sunshine galore, though I do recall that you are fond of some rain.   Welcome back, Judy, it's frustrating to not be able to "talk", glad you can share with us now.

Happy Birthday to Rob and ditto everything Mike young said. Wishing you a fantastic year and enjoy Thursday to the fullest.

Judy, Glad your back, what happened that you couldn't talk? Did the silance police get you?

Robert Radofski (Sullivan)

Thank you Mike and Tom, and yes the pubs are carefully opening and the music is being heard across the country. I like the green colored type, nice to see that St. Paddy's day is celebrated so well in the USA. It's raining today, and yes I like NO drought, but no bother. I have several sessions this week starting tomorrow night, so today is practice, practice, practice. Thursday the proper pints of Guinness will flow and the Craic will be mighty!

Also happy belated birthday Kathy Kehoe, Mary Strauss, Lucia Lenhard, and all the other Pisces who were lucky enough to be born in March, during Lent. LOL

A Happy St. Paddy's day to one and all, Irish or not!!!  Has anyone any idea where Colleen Malone (Our favorite leprechaun) might be?  Rob, I trust that you're already at a pub playing away with the Craic resounding through the walls.

Yes Mike, I spent from 6 to 10:30 at Considines playing tunes with my friends, Blackie O'Connell, Siobhan Peoples, Hugh Healy, Jordi Fabrini and several others. It was packed and there was spontanious dancing and singing from the crowd. St. Paddy's day was well observed.

Today I'm going back to the same pub for the half 4 piping session called Piping Heaven, Piping Hell. Here are a couple of Utube links to two of those sessions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTv36EkDLis    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UJ9Jlbt6Vc  Then tonight to the Old Ground Hotel for a late night session. It's all so tiring in a great way.

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone!

A Happy day after st. Pats day to all.

A special day for Joyce and Pat. Happy Birthday to both of you and wishes for many more to come.

Special cakes and ice cream all around for you both.

A Happy Belated Birthday to Pat and Joyce - I hope it was special.  For that matter I hope today is special, too.  We haven't heard from either of the two of you but we'd like to.  Don't be shy, well neither of you was exactly the shy type, were you?  Joyce, Canton isn't so far from Pontiac that you couldn't join us this August for some socializing.

With Paddy’s Day in the rear view mirror, I declare a personal Thanksgiving Day.

Thanks to all the donors to the website renewal. 💸 So funny how it works out even as the fee💰 rises each year (what doesn’t?). Special mention to Mary Ann Shirk who dropped her sheckles in the pot in an oh so Venmo mode. Very much enjoyed our phone conversation.

And grateful for birthday 🎂 wishes on the post and on FB. Very nice and appreciated more so as those birthdys stack up while losses occur on the flip side.

RRS, thanks for adding an International Flair 🍀 to the post. Rock on!

Also thankful for those two beautiful tease spring 🌸 🌺 days this past week in Michigan.

Happy Birthday to Andrea, or as we better know her as Andi.

Every year on this day I remember you because it is also our oldest daughters birthday. I also remember my first car I purchased from you.

Hope you have a good day and hope you have made room for that cake and ice cream.

Enjoy the day and the year.

Happy Birthday, Andi!!  I'd never envision you as a used car salesperson.  A designer of men's clothing - yes that fits your creativity.  It would be good to hear from you - hope you're happy in San Francisco.

And a Merry Unbirthday to Jack Clalabrese.  Hope to see you this August, too.
