Happy Birthday Pat, you're our Maine Man.  I recall how generous you were offering to play left handed aginst me in a chess match.  We do hope that all is well with you and your loved ones in the great northeasten forests

Hello to one and all.

My computer will be in getting a cleanup and refreshing up for the next few days.

I hope I won't miss birthdays or happenings for the week but I'm getting tired of this stupid thing telling me I have 5 virus, That I need to update my McAfee and Norton. The problem is I don't have either.

So everyone enjoy your day and be back at the end of the week.

Happy Birthday, Phil Anderson, we trust that you and Pauline are well.  The two of you ought to grace us with your presence at our Reunion/Golf outing.  Shelby Twp. isn't far from Pontiac CC.  Playing golf is optional.  Meanwhile as OB is temporarily incomunicado, I'm sure he'd want you to make sure that the ice cream and cake are plentiful.

Happy Birthday, Rick Fournier, the quick wit with humor and smiles for everyone.  We're looking forward to seeing you and the effervescent Valerie this August brightening the day.  Again, as OB is incommunicado for a short spell, I'll fill in for him reminding you (a completely unnecesary endeavor, we're sure) to have plenty of cake and ice cream.

Happy Birthday Sheri Sulewski, a fine golf partner with a sweet touch with a putter.  You and Bob ought to join us this August but, for now, have some cake and ice cream.  We hope your days are filled with love, friendship and happiness.

And a Happy Birthday to Jean Stariha, you always seemed so serious and quiet to me.  I'm sure your close confidants had different impressions.  Are you still in Thousand Oaks or have you relocated to Ohio?  Wherever you are we wish you peace, comfort and love - the cake and ice cream should be available in abundance.

Happy Birthday to Cheryll and Jean.

Another year and another day to celebrate with all your favorite people. At least this year we can do it in public, carefully and with friends and family.

May your day, week and year be the best yet and stay safe and healthy.

And of course be sure to have your cake and ice cream .

Enjoy with all.

Good Day to the President. Happy Birthday to Jim and wishes for many more.

Hope the Utah weather is good for you. When I was working and traveled to Utah, I was pleasantly surprised how well the people seemed to be so healthy and vibrant, not to mention how well the women were so young-looking.

Anyway, Enjoy your day and enjoy your cake and ice cream

It sure was nice to see your birthday wishes.  Having another birthday confirms that I am still here.  This years birthday comes with a very special present.  Our granddaughter is in the school play this weekend.  They are doing Beauty and the Beast, and Zoe is playing the part of Beauty.  We could not be happier, and Grandpa got a great birthday gift.  Brings back memories of the Music Man.

We will be attending on Saturday and Sunday along with our three daughters and several other family members.  Great way to spend your birthday.  I am pretty sure there are plans for cake, ice cream, and maybe a beverage or two.

PS- I heard spring is just around the corner!

Happy Birthday Dick Brown!!  We wish you a fine year and good health.  We hope to see you and the lovely Kathy at our Reunion/Golf outing again this August.

A Belated happy Birthday to the proud Garndpa Dave - glad that your birthday had so much for you that you wanted and enjoyed.

And another Happy Belated Birthday to Jim, still one of the most sensitive and compassionate persons that I've been blessed to know.  I'm sure that all the walking you may do on the hilly terrain in Utah will help this doctor stay healthy.  I wish you all the comfort and joy you want.

Happy Birthday, Mary Lou, AKA the Birdie Babe.  May the warm smiles you extend to everyone come back to you and your day be filled with comfort and love.  How are you doing now that curling has taken the Summer off?

To all the Moms out there - blessings galore!!!  Motherhood isn't merely a noble calling it's so many things all at once - teacher, caretaker, nurse, muse, etc., etc..  A mother cannot schedule any time off as its' demands aren't following any preset pattern.  I hope that each of you has a day as terrific as you can handle.  Janet, I hope that you enjoy some more pineapple upside down cake.

A Happy Birthday to Mary (Smiley) Devine.

Remembering all the days at Shrine and every day around you was filled with smiles. Seeing you everyday, no one could have a bad day.

I hope this day and all the days ahead are filled with your smiles and cake and ice cream.

To all the moms, ditto Mike Youngs' words and wishes for happy days to come.

All of you deserve more that one day, but take what you have and enjoy it.

My God the cakes and ice cream must be flying today. Eat it all and lick the plates.

I'd like to wish everyone a pleasant Memorial Day.  When I was a kid Memorial Day meant the start of Little League with a parade, baseball games and barbeques.  Now that I've been in the service the meaning is much more clear as well as vivid and personal.  I have been to the Wall in D.C. and seen the names of men/boys that I trained with - I am not ashamed, nor embarrassed by my tears.  Here in Pinehurst we have many military retirees and the patriotism displayed makes us proud to be Americans.  This is a day of profound sadness yet profound pride.  I thank all of those who served, especially those who were in harm's way, and those who waited for their safe return.  We are fortunate in that all of our classmates did return.

Well said, Mike.  Thank you for another reminder of the real meaning of Memorial Day.  How inspiring it would be to celebrate at Pinehurst.   Thanks again to our veterans for your service to our country.  Proud of you.
