Happy Birthday, Gerry, as fine a friend as anyone could ask for.  I hope your day has Barb, Beth and Pete included and the grandkids harassing you to your delight.  And maybe toss in a partidge on a par three.

Many thanks to Lucia, Janet, Larry and Chris for arranging such a terrific outing, both on and, even more so, off the course.  A special thanks to Sue, Lucia and Janet for making the sacrifice of going out to lunch and making sure that the restaurant was up to our standards.  I admire and appreciate your dedication.  Larry, the rules (???) were even better this year - you always make this a stress free event.  Great to see everyone and the addition of Pat and Cynthia Diggles was a real bonus.  Dave, I trust that you are healing well, that was quite a divot you took from your head.  Pontiac CC will not ask you to cover the extensive damage you inflicted on their cart.  Merry unbirthday, everyone.

Mike,

I could not have said it better.  Thanks to all who made it possible.  There were many memorable shots made on Saturday and I for one got pleanty of practice shots in.  Looking forward to next year.

Barbara and I went to our daughter Wendy's birthday party.  It sure was good to see her having a really good time with her friends, and hear good things about her from her fellow teachers.  She sure puts in a lot of time and effort.

Fortunately it was a rather shallow divot and I pretty much hit my bald spot so I do not think I lost any hair.  Who would think that the edge of the top on the cart could inflict tnat kind of damage.  As we all know, at our age it takes a little longer to heal.  I expect to be fully healed by Spring.  I hope that the cart learned a lesson from that encounter.

Happy Birthday Kathy Glynn - I never knew that you had such a quick and almost surgical wit hiding behind that sweet smile.  Good to see you at our outing.  Merry Unbirthday to the rest of us.

We cover a lot of birthdays in our Forum.  And, once again, thank you Lucia for the foresight or insight or whatever, to set this up for us.  We also have many sad things here, illnesses, people going to their eternal rewards, etc..  But I have something a bit different.  Just before our 59th Reunion my daughter, Michelle, had a lengthy operation on her neck in which two tumors were removed.  One of these tumors had "grown" a tail, which had wrapped itself around her throat and esophogus.  The lab reports took forever (to me) but the results were well worth waiting for.  Michelle is cancer free, and should live a full and normal lifetime.  This certainly puts so many of life's concerns into perspective.

ALLELUIA!!!!!!!

This is the best pre-birthday gift for you.laugh

Mike,

After a long sigh of relief, I'm glad all went well for your daughter.

I know how you felt and, how grateful you are for the Lord watching over and taking care of the problem.

Glad all went well and keep loving every day we're here.
