Chris, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mothers' passing.  I did not know her personally, but she had to be a remarkable person to raise an outstanding son.  We never know what life will expect from us, but your caring for her speaks volume of who you are.  God Bless..

Chris,

I am very sorry about your mom's passing.  She had a wonderful voice, and more importantly was a great person to everyone she met!  Peace be with you, Fred and your sister.

Pat

Happy birthday, Gayle - I was just amazed when you played "Polonaise", but, more interestingly, I can hear the common sense in your comments when you spoke.  I'm glad you've given up the habit, your world and ours are better off for it.

Chris,

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I never knew her but if she put up with you, she has to be a Saint. Seriously, my best for you and your family. Be strong and I'm sure you will get through this tough time.

Happy Birthday, Scotty, you of the dry wit.  I hope that you do not have any more face plants, that you stick all your landings and that your drives all curve in the same direction as the doglegs.  Looking forward to seeing you in August.

Tom thank you for the birthday wish, and I like your thought on golfs. My nick name is the Ranger, when I first started playing golf I was always in the woods so my buddies called ne the park ranger. As I became more profient and hit it in the rough hence the name The Ranger was more appropriate.

This afternoon I went the funeral home to be with Chrois and his family.  Chris told me that his mom  had been having breathing problems for awhile and it finally became too much for her.  It was a peacefully passing.

Chris is having trouble getting on the internet, so he asked me to express his grateful thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

While I did not know her personally, after talking with Chris and his brother and sister I feel that I missed an opportunity to know a really great person.  Chris and I talked about all the hard times our parents went through, the depression, the Second World War, and the rapidly changing world they had to deal with.  What our parents did made us what we are.  I pray that we did as much for our children.

God BlessYOU ALL AND GOD BLESS THE USA!

Dave Unger -  Well said.  I think our parents brought us up to respect our elders and the letter of the law.  I always told my girls that if they just live by the rules, their lives will be so much easier.  So far, so good!  No one on drugs or in jail.  Everyone is enjoying the fruits of their own labor, are successful, and seem to be bringing the grandkids up with good values.  I couldn't be more proud.

Thank you all for the kind Birthday wishes.  I thought I sent this message two days ago but, evidently, I didn't. LOL.  Sorry i haven't kept up with postings but life has a way of getting in the way.  We are off to Florida for three weeks on Saturday where it has been very warm this season.  The last two years, it has been rather cool.

My sincere sympathy, Chris, in the loss of your mom.  No matter how old we are when we lose a parent, at least, in my experience, we feel both a small child again and very old.  May family and fond memories of her sustain you in the days to come.

As I think we all have memories of Maureen Frye's beautiful voice in the Church choir and her willingness to sing at our weddings and funerals, her passing is especially poignant.    Since Chris' internet isn't functioning, here is Chris' home address in case you wish to send him a note.

Happy Birthday, Loretta.  May your day be full of smiles.  You seemed to have a look about you every so often that you were "up to something".  Are you now?  You should take the 25 minute drive up to Pontiac this August and join us, if not for golf, then for dining and socializing afterwards - it would be good to see you.

Happy Birthday Loretta,

I remember going to birthday parties at your house. Your Mother had a tray with ten or so items  on it, covered with a cloth.  She uncovered it, we had to guess the items in a minute or so.  I loved that game.

I beleive Alvina Pineau lived across the street, Margaret Kennedy down the block.  I was Most upset/cried when Alvina and I were separated I second or third grade 😰.

i hope you have a happy and healthy 2017 and I really hope you will join us at the 50+4 reunion.

🎂❤️‼️Mary Jo

 Mary Jo,

What  a wonderful birthday post. As we lose more people in our life, such a gift to receive a beautiful shared experience.

Happy birthday Sue, aka Loretta, wish I was at that party. Sounds fun.
