Wow!! Too many former classmates are passing away too soon. If I recall correctly, Bruce was in Music classes with me. He played the trumpet - and was an outstanding musician at that. Often times the music instructor would have to tell Bruce to back off a bit, let the rest of us play at our level.

I'm sure his family will be in need of support and prayers. Condolences to them and friends. 😒

Bruce and I played golf together all the time at Land Park and on the golf team.  We had some great times and he will be missed.  Bruce, RIP.

My Condolences to The Severson Family.....

THINKING of Bruce back in our High School days....brings a smile to my face..

He was a " trickster"    and he would often come by my house on 12th Street...and

leav a message OF SORTS .....or just sit on the porch and LoL TOGTHER....

Thanks for the Fun times....my buddy...heart

My memories of Bruce Severson was that he was an excellent golfer, and the best high school trumpet player I've ever heard! Class of '60 had some unique talent, and Bruce was one of them!

Hey Bruce, my extra special buddy, I have looked for you at our Class Reunions and hoped you would be at our 62nd.  I remembe us joking around in the halls at McClatchy and when you rescued me from the after-game dance that I was supposed to reign over in my formal.  Sitting alone on the "throne" no one asked me to dance until you did.  Then you asked if I would like to go home and change into casual clothes and go to the movies, which we did. It tiuned out to be a great evening after all!  Now you are gone without giving me a chance to say "thank you" and "good bye."  May you rest in peace.  Fondly, Carol Misterly Boice
