Wendy and I married 34 years ago and we are still doing well. I am still working full time in my law practice at Dewsnup King Olsen Worel Havas Mortensen, handling catastrophic injury and death cases, mostly defective products and medical malpractice.
We have traveled worldwide and enjoy life with our family and friends.
We've had great times and tough times, like all of us who live long enough do.
Hard to believe 51 years have gone by.
We still get together with my dear oldest friend Jeff Monroe, and his Jocelyn Green, to trade laughs, insults and stories. We also see Scott Paswaters occasionally. Scott and Andy Smith and Jimmy Boud and i were neighborhood hellions growing up. And Scott’s sons are buddies with our son Wyatt, it’s great to see these kids grow up.

We visited Lamar Kelly a few years ago at his Heber home. He was our track team coach and has remained a dear friend. We recalled our 1970 championship team --the one and only, I believe -- and had some laughs.
I note our track team mate and friend Brad Sondrup on the list of departed, prompting a fond memory of the day he and I were standing on the football field during track practice. I saw a sophomore throw the javelin our way, he thought we were both watching him. But Brad was looking away, and it was coming right at him! I yelled and he hit the ground, and the javelin hit him right in his butt, two feet away from me. It bounced back and didn't even make a hole in his sweats. I was amazed, and hollered out that "Sondrup has an iron ass!" Meanwhile, the sophomore who threw it, 50 yards away, sees the jav hit Sondrup, and thinks he's killed Brad. As I recall he passed right out.
Turns out the javelin and Brad's sweat pants went 3 inches into his butt cheek -- coach Kelly stuck a Q tip covered with alcohol all the way in. We laughed for weeks and called Brad "2 hole Brad."
