Mike died earlier this month from complications suffered in a bicycle accident near Chicago. He was good Oly friend and he will be missed. My very best to his family.
Mike's a guy who crosses my mind, quite often, when I think of those high school days... I admire his smarts and willingness to be true to himself and follow his heart. Bests to you Mike.
It's sad to hear about this. Mike was such a bright guy. I knew him from history classes. After high school I had a class on 19th Century philosophy with him at the University of Utah. He was the brightest guy in the class. He helped me start to understand Immanuel Kant. I would have loved to have seen him again.
