Cathy Joanne  Francis Quayle 1954 ~ 2004  Cathy Joanne Francis Quayle, age 49, of Sandy, UT, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2004 in Holladay, UT. She was surrounded by many people at the time of her continuation on her journey. Though she was difficult to let go of, it is of great comfort to know that she is no longer suffering the long winded trials of health. Cathy was born December 31, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT to William and Genevieve Marian Hill Francis. In October 1973, she married Thomas R. Quayle, in Salt Lake City, UT, a marriage of 22 years, and a friendship forever. She lived as an inspiration to all who knew her. She taught so many people to never give up no matter what life throws at you. She will always be remembered as a fighter and an unconditional friend.  Survivors include her daughter, Selena Quayle Proctor of Ballwin, MO; father, William Francis; sisters, Marian (David) Fullmer, Diane (Randy) Howarth, Connie (Erik) Hansen, brothers, Bill (Mary) Francis, Tom (Luella) Francis; nieces, nephews, many friends, and a wonderful, unselfish companion, Art Roeder-"our hero", and her cat, Patches. Preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Francis. Funeral services for Cathy will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E., Salt Lake City, UT, where friends may call Fri. evening, from 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
