I met Gail at SCHS and we became great friends. We were in the scouts together and went on many fun and exciting camping trips. When my kids were small, Gail and her husband used to meet us at Del Valle for camping. She would bring her telescope, show my kids the stars and tell them wonderful stories. Gail went to college in Oregon and graduate school in Wisconsin. She loved all kinds of outdoor sports: skiing, backpacking, rock climbing, camping, horseback riding and she could fly a plane. She was a wonderful friend and is greatly missed.
