Mike was my ballroom dancing partner when we were attending McKinley. I learned to dance the waltz to Andy Williams' Moon River. Not only was he handsome he had a great sense of humor and didn't step on my toes. So very sad to learn of his passing. We miss you Mike! Ellen Dickinson (Campbell)

All of my adult life I have lovingly remembered Mike and wondered what he was up to. He was my very first 'love', my first boyfriend. I adored him. He was the popular guy, I was absolutely not the popular gal, yet we connected and I taught him to free his spirit a little and fly kites, ride a tandom bicycle on a picnic, go to the zoo and museums, look for creatures in the tide pools at the beach. And we took our dogs, Bergie and Scott for long hikes across the open hillsides. Although he broke my heart the end of our junior year and we broke up, he returned after graduation to try to reconnect our relationship. I didn't trust so we went in different directions, but he's never been far in my mind. He was funny, silly, affectionate, very bright and he had all that it takes to accomplish whatever he put his mind to. I'd always hoped that some day, we would meet up at some silly event and just have a little fun going back through the years.
Mike, I hope to see you in Heaven.
