Tell us about your grandchildren (if you have any!)

I now have two grandsons, Miles, born March 2009 and Price, born Dec 2011. They are full of fun and we love to spend time together.

Comments:

I have lived in San Diego, CA., Lake Co., CA and presently live in Benicia, CA, where I have resided for the past 32 years. I worked full-time as a Resource Specialist (special education students) in the Vallejo School District and I retired in 2011 after 37 years. I really loved my years as a teacher and definitely chose the right path for myself. I am equally enjoying my retirement - travel, family and time for everything I was too busy to do while teaching.

My favorite subjects in high school were...

English classes and afterschool sports programs

Some of my best friends in high school (and what I liked most about them):

Chuck Markovich- really funny and imaginative; Janet Blucher - loved sports and spending time hanging out with her family, a great friend; all the Band Nerds- we had a great time together.

Countries (and cities) I have visited since graduating include:

A fun trip to Hawaii with a college girlfriend while single (a two week trip turned into 6 weeks). More trips to Hawaii with family since this first adventure. I have made several trips to Europe: Trip one to England, Spain, Portugal, Holland, and France by train and backpack many moons ago. Trip two to Italy with two other couples (Florence, Venice, Tuscany area, Lucca, Sienna) three years ago. Trip three with my children, husband and son-in-law to Barcelona, Spain, Nice, France, and many cities in Italy, last summer. We love Italy and plan to return. Just returned from a trip to Cuba (April 2013) with my husband and a small group (9). This was a fantastic experience. I loved the music, colors, friendly Cubans, and learning about the culture and government controls. So much to see and learn. This summer a backpacking trip in Yosemite (High Sierra Camps). A trip on my bucket list.

Some of the most memorable/fun/funny/important things I've done since graduating include:

Traveling. Having two wonderful children who have grown into amazing adults.

The things I am most passionate about these days include...

Working out and keeping fit, traveling and spending time with my family.

What I think about this web site, and what I think would make it even better:

It is a great idea! Thanks for the efforts.
