Wow! 20 years...1988...it seems like a different lifetime... and many different hairstyles ago...thank goodness! I definitely look back at pics, especially the ones on this website and say, "What was I thinking with that hairstyle?" Obviously, I wasn't thinking!!!
Anyways, since SHS...I went to Western Carolina Univ. for 4 years and taught in the NC mountains for another 4 years after graduating with a teaching degree. I loved living in the beautiful NC mountains, but being single in the mountains wasn't my style! :-) So I headed to the city and moved to Atlanta in 1996, just in time for the Olympics! I really enjoy living here and taking advantage of many of the adventures the "big city" has to offer, especially when I was a single girl! I was fortunate enough to have the opportunities to travel during the summers to great places, like Europe, South Africa, Israel, and Panama! Experiences I wouldn't trade for anything! And I guess this was my life plan to teach, travel and play during my 20s, so I could finally meet my soul mate and settle down at the age of 34! Yeah!!! I finally met my wonderful husband, Ira (a good NYC boy) and his 2 beautiful daughters. We got married 2 years later in December '06, traveled to Argentina for our honeymoon, adopted a dog, have 2 cats, moved to the northern suburbs of Atlanta and continue teaching 1st grade! Plus, I'm learning all about life as a "stepmom"! Whew...all in the past year and a half! So now my life has quickly changed into married with children in the 'burbs, and I'm loving it!!!
