I just want to thank everyone that put this website together. I can't believe it's been 20 years since seeing most of you. It feels like just yesterday that we were planning our senior prank and running from the police after rolling the school. Our senior year, quite a few of us sat in a classroom as our yearbook was being dedicated after rolling the school the night before. I hope to make it into town for the reunion and want to let anyone coming to Vegas know that they can contact me and I will be glad to show you around. Take care, Darby Curlee.

Hello Everyone. This is a great site and meets our needs. Excellently done. I am looking forward to leaving this tundra for Sav.

I agree, great job on the website. It's cool to see a glimpse of what's going on each other's lives and kind of 'breaks the ice' before the reunion dates. I'm looking forward to taking some time off and getting back to Savannah for the reunion. I enjoyed reading about Darby & Reggie's lives... sounds like you got it going on. Good stuff. Haven't had a chance yet to read any more. I have always wondered about how Jon Schumacher and Carter Napier are doing. If anyone's in touch with them, let 'em know to look me up.

Thanks for sharing,
Alan Garren

First, I have to agree with everyone else - the site is NICE. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Has it REALLY been that long?

Has anyone talked to Mary Odom (her name is missing from the class list)? I WAS in communication with her maybe six months ago, but we have lost touch.

Great job!! Thank you for the invite. I cant wait to see you guys. About this rolling and running from the police, I have no clue what you are talking about. Are any of you bringing your golf clubs to Savannah?

03/15/08 11:50 AM #8

Darby Curlee

Absolutely bringing the clubs to Savannah and plan on playing as much as possible. Anyone who wants to play, let me know so we can all get together and tee it up. See ya, Darby. (mcavian@msn.com)

Darby,
I will bring mine. Bring some money, you always beat me in high school so I need to get at least 1 in the W list. Let me know when we are going to play. We may want to get there early on Friday and play all day Friday. If we get enough of us to play we can have some form of best ball tourney. I will supply the prizes.

Alan,

Jon Schumacher is in Savannah. He's married, has two children and he and his older brother Karl are my CPA's.
They've handled my accounting for years.
He's doing great and is one of my favorite people. Such a really nice person.

Brian Aliffi lives in Minnesota and is a big corporate type for one of the largest coffee companies in North America. He's an internationally known coffee expert and is responsible to traveling to Central and South America to check coffee crops.

Kim Draucker lives in Jacksonville and does marketing for a large medical group. She's married to a really great guy and doing wonderful.

And that's it. That's everyone I've kept in touch with. I talk with the three of them on a regular basis; although Aliffi is hard to keep track of because he travels so much. He and I hooked up in Longbeach last summer when he came to LA for a coffee conference.

I've sent them invites.

Cheers!

Thanks for the info Johnathan. Haven't had the chance to check out your website yet, but I should later this evening. Film producing sound like fun and a lot of hard work. Glad you enjoy it. Wish you continued success!

Hey guys-I'm here! I love this site--I'll try to see if I can find out out where some of our folks have gone to. I'll check with my sister (she was c/o '86) to see if she has any ideas.

I read every one of your profiles and looked at ALL of your photos and videos! You guys are so cool and really doing some great things! :-) We have to definitely stay in touch now that we have this site!

I'll check back regularly! Have a great day!

Kim

Hi Guys,

Thanks Lori for informing me of the site. How marvelous is technology? :) For those of you whom have taken on the task to create this site and make arrangements for our reunion. "Thanks" If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.

High School, what wonderful years to be wild and crazy, daring and innovative. I also can't believe it's been 20 years.

Where are the activities taking place? I'll try to get in touch with Tay, Disha, Stacy and Dorothy. See you in June.

Hey all;
Checked with my sister and she thought that Vicki Farber was in the Atl. area around Acworth teaching. She suggested that we check on classmates.com as she might be registered there.

Just checking in with yall. Hope all is well!

Hey everybody! Glad to hear everybody is doing so well. Just wanted to tell everybody that I am posting some photos on my profile that I took of certain people at Windsor in 1985 and 1988, along with pictures of myself, my husband and my sons. Can't wait to hear from the classmates I contacted on my space. Take care and talk to you all soon.

I found Shyam Mirchandani...he's in Savannah running a men's clothing business off Broughton Street. I think I may have managed to track down Apu as well in Marietta. If you guys have a couple of minutes, Google your classmates and see if we can find them - can't wait to see you all again!!!!!

Softball. Anybody up for a game that weekend? Love to WATCH golf, but never got that good at it, even Putt Putt - HAHAHAHA. Holy cow, THERE'S a memory. Putt Putt right next to the Kroger off Mall Boulevard.

Hello everyone!
I can't wait to see everybody at the reunion this year! I missed a lot of you at the 10 year reunion, but it was so funny to see how much everyone there has (or hasn't) changed!
Alan, I know Carter ended up at BYU for a while, (or so Miki told me) and when I searched for him a few years ago, all I could find was that he was in Montana. Haven't had any contact with him since high school.
Great job with the website Natalie! You always did everything so well!
I'm going down to Savannah the weekend before the reunion for my aunt's wedding, and will be back the following weekend to see everyone. I guess I've got to start losing weight and getting back into shape! :)
If anyone wants to drop me an email, send it to deepc185@hotmail.com
(I still can't believe its been 20 years, or that I couldn't wait to get out of high school! I finally know what they mean when they say youth is wasted on the young!)

Kimberly Draucker (Aikens)

Very cool, Anthony, that you found Apu--I haven't seen him since our days on the tennis team. I hope he signs up and gets a profile with some pics so we can see him. Shoot, I hope every one does- I want to see them all.
I LOVE THIS SITE!!!

You know, I don't know about yall but I've had to bust out my year book to refresh my memory on alot of things--teacher's names, faces, etc. :-)

I'll Be back....

*SIGH* wish I still had my yearbooks. They got "disposed of" when I got divorced, along with a footlocker full of pictures from then. Very sad. Anybody know how I can go about possibly getting copies of (at least) our Senior Yearbook?

03/26/08 08:05 PM #21

Heather Raymond (Wainwright)

Hi Tony!

Try calling the school to see if they saved any copies of past yearbooks that you could purchase. I found one WFHS yearbook on ebay, but it was from 1979. Somewhere else I read that ancestry.com has past yearbooks scanned in, but they don't have ours....I checked. Another suggestion I found was to check used book/antique stores in the area to see if any of them have our class yearbooks on the shelves. I also tried to figure out who published our yearbook, but I couldn't find any identifying information in it, so maybe one of the former yearbook staffers can attest to what company printed it, and maybe that company has more copies.

I say "Here! Here!" to how much fun it is to read everyone's profiles. Please keep 'em coming! And let's keep spreading the word--that six degrees of separation thing has got to help us out on that!! :)

All the best to everyone!

I tell you what...this is so friggin cool seeing where lives have led since we all spread out after high school. Alan Garren! What's with all the suits dude? Lookin sharp these days.

Want to put my kudos in for everyone involved with setting this up. I am really enjoying the sight. Gives me something to do after a long day at the hotel. I've been living here since I started in January...not quite slummin it, but ready to get the fam down for good.

I love all the photos af everyone's kids. I think it's neat to see how much we pass along to them. I think it was Ashley who said he got the curse of the getting one like him.. My 3yr old son is mine. Just all boy. If he was 1st, I'd only have 1.

Hopefully after this we can stay in touch with old friends a bit better.

If anyone happens to have a picture of me from High School, please post it or email it to me. My wife is interested to see what I looked like then. Mary is also looking forwards to meeting all of you. I got very lucky with finding her and can't wait for yal to meet her. See you soon, Darby and Mary.

Just for fun, I decided to ask everyone some questions about your glorious days at good ol' WFHS.

1. Favorite Teacher?

2. Least Favorite Teacher?

3. Best Friend(s)?

4. Who was your BF or GF at Windsor?

5. Did you have a secret crush on anyone at Windsor?

6. Most embarrising moment?

7. Proudest moment?

8. One thing you would change if you could?

This is just for fun, so feel free to skip any you don't want to answer or worry you might get you in trouble! No need to incriminate yourself! :)

One more thing, if you are planning to go to the reunion, please fill out the RSVP form so the little icon shows by your name. So far it looks like only 8 people are going!

03/27/08 12:39 PM #25

Ashley Johnson

Guess I should go first.

1. Favorite Teacher? Mr Shaw, hands down

2. Least Favorite Teacher? Ms Bath. I know I'm going to Hell for all the Ms Bath jokes we told!

3. Best Friend(s)? Carter Napier, Alan Garren, Joey Garman

4. Who was your BF or GF at Windsor? Never dated anyone from Windsor. Those private school girls were my fatal flaw!

5. Did you have a secret crush on anyone at Windsor? Yes, Melissa Miller, but I don't really think it was that big a secret. Almost everyone I hung out with knew about it!

6. Most embarrising moment? I'll tell the clean one! When I was at a football game and acting stupid (not uncommon!) and fell on my head in front of the cheerleaders! I won the Stupid Award at Young Life for that!

7. Proudest moment? It would either be scoring 1360 on my SAT, or just plain managing to graduate! It was nip and tuck there towards the end! Thanks to Ms Abernathy for taking pity on me and scoring my final exam in Lit to pass me overall! Otherwise my "Summer of Love" would have been my "Summer of School"! LOL!

8. One thing you would change if you could? Honestly, I would take high school at LOT more seriously than I did! I just never realized it would affect me as much as it did. Also, I would have made a better effort to keep in touch with all of my old friends. I'm hoping this reunion gives me a second chance at that!

03/27/08 08:19 PM #26

Richard Alan Garren

Dusty, is the guy in the three piece suites asking me about my pics wearing two piece suites? lol. Wow. Seriously, I'm usually the one taking all the pics of our family and I guess the only time my wife wants to photograph me is when I'm cleaned-up. I just uploaded the first ones I found that were most recent.

Ok Ashley... here's your survey...
1. Favorite Teacher? Kim Bonard

2. Least Favorite Teacher? Oh, that lady that replaced Mrs. Baker for anatomy & physiology. I disliked her so much that I refused to even take her tests.... she gave up and just let me go to the gym every day. I made a 90 the 1st semester with Mrs. Baker, then a zero the 2nd semester.... but I can't remember her name??? BTW, in college I finished A&P with a 100 avg. (Actually, I liked "Her" by the end of the semester, but I hated her teaching style with so much busy work.)

3. Best Friend(s)? Hard one, I was close with so many of you. Probably Bill Carlton

4. Who was your BF or GF at Windsor?

5. Did you have a secret crush on anyone at Windsor? Yes, Mrs. Abernathy but she let the age thing get in the way!

6. Most embarrising moment? When I ran over that old lady on the way to school one morning.

7. Proudest moment? Soccer championship, undefeated, public school! Our Basketball team was incredible that year too!

8. One thing you would change if you could? I would have tried to take the time to get to know more people, and I wouldn't have spent so much energy on my hair. Sure, I'd have studied a little harder too.
