I work with Hong Mach's brother-in-law.  I received word this morning from his

brother-in-law that Hong passed away over the weekend after a battle with cancer.  

Hong Tien Mach, 45, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at his home.  He was born January 3, 1964, in Saigon

Vietnam, a son of Loi & Minh Mach.  Hong worked for Waterloo Industries.  He was a loving and caring person and a devout

Christian.  He was a member of First Baptist Church.  Surviving are his parents of Sedalia, a brother, Tai Mach and his wife, Eunice

of Blue Springs; a sister, Kim Lammers, and her husband Matt, of Columbia; a niece, Elisabeth; and a nephew, Timothy.  

Services:

Wednesday, May 6  10:30 AM (Heckart Funeral Home)  

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until service time on Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home.
