Hello Fern, It's Lynn Kirschenbaum. I just saw your post about your accident. I have many fond memories of your house and your beautiful terraced back yard. We carpooled to Park temple. You lived on Parkland and I lived on Aldersyde. You had a child's version of bridge and we actually tried playing it. In junior high I got into sports and I guess you were more into theater. I did do some plays in high school, but I barely remember them. I don't remember your parents very well. Did you have an older brother? I came from a large family of 5 girls and one boy. We overlapped jr. high and high school with my sisters Gail and Amy. I hope perhaps something jogged your memory. I think you might have had a water pond in your back yard. I remember there were steps going down from the house to a beautifully manicured lawn and gardens. I am going to check out your husband's website right now. Lynn

Happy Birthday from our South Euclid days on Wrenford Road
Mr. Wiehe truly was one of those teachers who made a lasting impression. I never had him for a teacher or a coach, but he always seemed to know how I was doing in my sports. I always looked for him as he rode by my house always with a wave and a smile. We were lucky to have him for a role model.
Hi Nancy. I just saw you were on Shaker web site. I’m very sorry about Dale. I’m sure your grandson brings you much joy. Only hope good things for you.
Peter, It's funny that you posted a comment for Mr Krabill. It was in his class that I discovered that some people were good at art. He had us do a project pasting geometric shaped colored tissue paper on a clear piece of plastic. Most of the projected ended up on my fingers and my plastic sheet looked like a gluey mess with pieces of ripped paper. I glanced over to you (you were sitting next to me) and your sheet looked like art! I had learned my first of many lessons in appreciating talent.
My other memory was of Mrl Krabil telling us if we ever have children to throw away coloring books or any books with lines. He said to tape big pieces of white paper to the walls and let your children create. When I had children I did exactly that! He was truly a talent. I love his work.
Happy Birthday Caryl. Always one of my favorite gym leaders.

Linda, what a nice surprise. I have very vivid memories of your house and your sibs and your mom. Your mom actually worked with me on the piano when I was between teachers. We worked on Mozart - and that's what I'm working on now. I hope all is well. I'm not big on the computer, but was so happy to see your name. Lynn
I had a special relationship with Virginia, too. She lived close to my Grandmother's and often we would meet up in her neighborhood. We always reconnected at reunions. When my sisters dies, she wrote me an amazing note. Virginia, you will be missed.
