I spend much of my time traveling to see my children and grandchildren who live on both coasts. I have also been involved in numerous community art projects here in Lincoln. Speaking of Lincoln, it is very hard to be an Iowa State Cyclone fan/alumni in this city but I wear my ISU hoodies with pride! Tennis, biking, swimming and pickleball (my new sport) keep me moving. I am very blessed.

Perhaps some of us who play pickleball can find some courts to play on in Sioux City during the reunion. (Doubles only!)

My 4 years at Heelan ended in a blink of an eye but the memories have lasted forever. It all began freshman year with Mr. Ausdemore's (sp?) crazy homeroom. Remember standing in the corner holding a broom for talking too much? He was a nut! Highlights were pep rallies; representing Heelan women athletes at the Iowa state tennis tournament senior year; homecomings; prom, twirp, intramural b-ball; and the song "House of the Rising Sun" played at the end of each CYO dance.
Most of all, I cherish the friendships of classmates that continue even to this day.
It definitely was a special time.

Both of my parents, Margaret and Frank, have passed away. When in Sioux City, I drive by my family home at 20th & Douglas and have great memories. Our house was the hub for many social gatherings during high school. None of my siblings live in Sioux City. Greg,Chris, Karen & Mark all live in the Minneapolis area. My brother, Jeff, lives in New Jersey.

I am blessed to be able to still play tennis several times a week. (Of course, I need to take Advil and use ice packs afterwards.)
