Hi Cathy, Bob Bixby, "Bix" an ND classmate of mine recently retired and moved to Wilmington NC where his brother lives. While at his brother's house on New Year's Day he met Jeff Mangold and Jeff mentioned that he knew me...of course, his twin sisters came up in the conversation and I got an email from my friend Bix.
What impressed me was Jeff's time with the NY Yankees. My all-time favorite baseball team. I used to listen to the games on the radio with my dad. My hero was Mickey Mantle.
Such a small world. Just thought I'd give you a quick shout-out about it. Hope you are doing well and Happy New Year.
