Wow this hit home for me. Susie was a best friend at Bryson Elem. It's sure hard to see your peers pass on. My condolences to her loved ones. ❤️ Ann Fulkerson Williams

Oh my goodness, such a shocking announcement about such a lovely classmate!  She was such a beautiful person, with such a sparkly personality.  She will be dearly missed, and deeply mourned by all who knew her.  May she rest in eternal peace 🌹

Hearing of Suzie's death had me going back to the 50s at Bryson Avenue Eleementary School. Her family moved to South Gate around the 3rd or 4th grade, I think. I remember she & I had the same dress, but different colors (one brown, the other blue), which we bought at Joel's on Tweedy Blvd. Anyone remember that store? Then my family moved to Sacramento in March of '62. Suzie & I stayed connected, & I was a bridesmaid in her wedding to Phil. She & Candy & I got together for lunch on one of my trips down south & I stayed in her home a couple of nights. The three of us lived just a few houses away by the park. What fun memories we had to share. She made it through lung cancer, but I guess dementia got the best of her. My condolences to Phil, Bradley, Michael & her grandkids & sister Peggy & brother-in-law Bob.
