Labor day weekend 2014, I went to Colorado Springs, CO for family weekend at the USAF Academy where my grandson Noah was a freshman. He is now a sophomore and has soloed in a glider and has hopes of being a fighter pilot. He is also aspiring to be an aeronautical engineer. Unlike his grandfather, "this kid's smart".

Take a train excursion across the Canadian Rockies and visit my best man in San Antonio, whom I haven' seen in over 50 years.

Over two and a half years have past since Linda's death and I am finally moving on. My house in Ct has been sold and we close on Nov 30. I will be moving in with my youngest daughter Deanna in Wilmington , NC until I can find my own place. Lots of work to do between now & then, but it will work out. My other daughter Babette and her family have been incredibly helpful. My son Brian will be coming home from CA to help with the move.

Plenty of work and anxiety, but it will come to pass.

My prayers are with Bob Servant. And my best wishes are with the entire class.
