I don't know about Greg, but I'm glad I missed the Beat It choreography. However the next Reunion I would like to see that Brady Bunch Skit that JT, Amy, Greg, Bobby T., and hell can't remember the rest off the top of my head, did at the talent show. I know it won't be easy to find a sub for Bobby but I bet he'd get a kick out of it.

Hi everyone!!! I am as sad and pathetic as ever. I just e-mailed Kevin B. and told him I couldn't be long winded because i have assumed my Tuesday seat at the computer during my daughter's storytime session. Jack is pulling his car seat apart and she is eating cheezits while doodling so my time is down to the wire. I just wanted to say the same as everyone and we all know that we genuinely mean it......it was so great to see everyone. It was a fabulous weekend!!!! Couldn't have been better and I expected no less from the people who planned it. I have one and only one regret... that I didn't have more conversations with more people and the ones I did have weren't even longer. It's difficult to catch up 20 years with so many people. Anyway - it was great, everyone looks great and I can't wait for the next one. I'm with David though - CRUISE!!!! I didn't get a chance to read everyones blurbs, but I am looking forward to reading them and seeing pics. Hook a mom up - I retired my camera for the night, it gets a lot of miles with 3 young ones. I get tired of being the photographer I'm counting on you!!

Ok gotta go - my daughter is counting the gum under the computer table and telling me how these people made a bad choice!!! Take Care of yourselves - I'll try to keep in better touch!!! - Cathy W.

As for you Greg - it's just like you to choose throw up on your shoes and a casual stabbing on the subway instead of us!!! Call Me

It is Tuesday late after noon and I think I am just about recovered from the weekend!!! It was unbelievably awesome to see everyone. I have been telling all my new jersey peeps that my class is the best looking class at our 20 year reunion then any other. We rock!!! I think we look better today then we did way back when!! Danea Connolly you should have won an award for hottest mama!! Am I right or is she the most changed and the most beautiful?!!?!! I am 100% up for cruise next time. The weekend went way to fast so lets plan at least a 7 day!!

Ann Hattal (Parks)

Uh oh, Danea, rack in your kudos! You are abs correct Diane Clark; Danea is the hot mamma! And she just had her baby just less than two years ago!! Not toooo skinny and most def not fat. Yeah most changed and most beautiful-grin

It was so nice to see everyone again!!!

At times it was overwhelming to see everyone and process everything that was going on. Being away for 20 years... where do you start?? Thanks to all those classmates that welcomed us and took time to say hello.

Our time in Ohio was short and quite a whirlwind!! We flew into Indy from Orlando with our 1 year old (Thomas)... met with grandparents in Indy... drove to Dayton/Enon... events, reunion, etc... and then back again to Indy to get our son and fly back to Florida early Monday morning. WHEW! Had a great time but wished we could have participated more....

Michelle and David, Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a wonderful event. You guys make such a great team! Michelle, thanks for making me feel welcome, you're awesome!

I wish each and every classmate the best with their families, careers and future endeavors!

If you are ever traveling to Florida, please look us up! We sincerely welcome all!

I can vouch for Michelle!
Girl threw down a full split on the dance floor!
Even did the little kicky dance steps to "Mickey"
Her cheerleaders would have been PROUD!!

Thanks, Dave and Michelle, and everybody who made it--awesome reunion, proud class, important to touch base with each other and remember those we've lost. Sounds like I missed a lot of fun at the Saturday banquet, and glad to hear y'all kept crackin each other up. That cruise idea sounds hilarious. I'd be down with it, but I'm also a fan of simplicity--all we need's a room of our own every few years. Take care, all, til next time, and as Tom Waits says, "Always keep a diamond in your mind."

I know it is too soon after the reunion, but any ideas on the (where's, how's and when) for the next one would be appreciated.....throw some ideas at us so we can at least get a direction.

How about an 80s prom, David?

10/09/08 07:19 AM #129

David Todd Johnson

The reason I had mentioned the cruise,(even though it would be a little pricey) was because there really isn't much preparation by any individuals and it would last longer if it were a 4 or 5 day one. The 80's prom is a good idea Beth......I'd have to get that feathered hair look all over again.....nasty.

Diane Clark (Santana)

i vote for cruise!!!

Then again, it's so easy just to rent a restaurant or hotel banquet space, stumbling distance from wherever. But I don't wanna contradict Diane--she's all in shape and everything--probly kick my ass. Once the economy gets remotely rational, people might be ready for cruisin in something besides a 70s nova (that's a shoutout to Buddelmeier).

Hey Gang,

While my visit was short-lived, I wanted to say that I had an absolute blast. It was great seeing everyone that showed up to Legends on Friday night. Michelle, David, Jill, Julie, Sheri, Kristie, and all the others that I missed - you guys rock! This reunion was a total success from what I have read. I agree that the weekend is just not long enough and a cruise would be a GREAT idea. If we know now, then everyone can save up for it. I love cruising. I hope everyone stays in touch through the website. Too bad our reunions are 5 years apart!

Talk to you all soon.
Heather

A Cruise, damn does that mean I have to start doing sit ups again??? Dave that feathered hair look might be easier???? lol

10/09/08 11:18 AM #134

David Todd Johnson

Steve....We could do an Alaskan cruise and keep all of our clothes on and not worry about sit-ups...hahahah. To most of the guys from our class, we've got some exercising to do because the girls all looked fantastic, not that the guys looked bad, but we have definately shown our age more so...the battle is on. Keep the ideas coming because I don't care what we do......I think we would have fun no matter what.

I still can't believe I saw Michelle rock the splits on the dance floor. That was amazing.

And who knew my 80's music trivia would win me alcohol. That gift basket was Awesome! Thanks guys!

10/09/08 04:32 PM #136

Michelle Bledsoe (Johnson)

yeah, my cheerleaders think it's pretty cool that I can still do the splits and jumps ... now, the tumbling thing is another story ... at the Wright State Cheer Camp, the girls challenged me to tumble with them ... I tried a backwalkover ... and well ... I got BACK, but not OVER ... not pretty ... hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Regarding the gift baskets, you can thank Missy (Fugate) Current for the alcohol and root beer and her hubby Darren for the coke products and Glass Etch Studios (Steve Harper's parents) for the etched "rock" glasses. Yes, you are lucky ... you got the BEST door prize (at least the most valuable if Crown Royal is your thing) ;-)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to the committee for a fantastic reunion even though I was not able to attend Saturday. It was great to see everyone and catch up. I vote for a cruise next time. Keep in touch and hurry up with those photos on web shots.

Well, it's Friday afternoon. Almost a full week after the reunion and I still find myself thinking about things people said and did that just make me SMILE! I had such a wonderful time and it was so good to see EVERYONE. It is too bad we can only get together every five years. I don't think that I can wait that long :). My husband has reminded me, and everyone that we know, that I was the last person to leave the Officer's Club and the bar afterwards! Thanks to everyone- committee members and attendees- for making the weekend so memorable.

I don't know where you all got your stamina!
I know I WANTED to go to Cadillac Jack's after the Officer's Club but I could not stay on my feet one more minute!!!
I also missed the group at Young's the next day.
(well, I did come down with the flu so that's prolly why) but even if I was in full health I still think you all had me beat!!!

I can't believe a week has already gone by since the reunion! It seemed to take forever to get here and now it's done and gone and already a memory. :(

To everyone that was at Legends on Friday night it was so wonderful to see everyone. To live in Springfield and hardly see anyone seems almost impossible but it totally happens. I miss you all so much, and after seeing everyone it makes you feel like 20 years has really flown by. You all look really great, and I really mean that.
I hope that I talked to everyone, after a few (or more than a few miller lites) it got kinda overwhelming. I tried to talk to as many as i could. I'm up for whatever for the next reunion. You all will always hold a special place in my heart.

Diane Clark (Santana)

AHHH, Cherie..... Your so sweet. We all missed you too. It was so awesome to see you again. It looked like you just walked off the pages of our year book!! Not one bit different!!

1st - Thanks for the really nice comments Diane. It really meant a lot...especially with how great everyone looked. (you are the Hot Mama yourself!) It was amazing how little people changed, especially the ladies with all those kids they have been birthing. Kudos to you all for looking so great! We are aging with grace and a little hair die (well I know I had the hair did! right Chris!) Thanks to you too Ann, as always!
2nd - it was really nice seeing everyone. I wish I had more of a chance to talk to everyone. Some people I didn't even realize were there 'cause everything seemed to go so fast! While your in the middle of one conversation you see someone else you really want to talk to. Sorry if I missed anyone! To everyone I did get a chance to talk to, it was really great seeing you again!
3rd - The cruise seems nice, although I get motion sickness on a swing so not sure it would be the best idea. All I know is it would be nice if wherever it was, it was available for even those classmates who changed their minds at the last minute. I realize that is a pain in the butt, however, it is a shame a few of our classmates were denied access to our celebration because they weren't on the gate list. Also, maybe we should have a mixed reunion with classes above and below us.
Overall, it was a great time! Thanks to all involved!
