1949-2024

Ray Gene Kellogg, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024.

He was born December 6, 1949 in St. Joseph to Russell and Edith (Cline) Kellogg. Ray was a 1969 graduate of Lafayette High School.

He was a custodian at the Methodist and State Hospitals and Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church.

Ray collected Coca-Cola and John Wayne memorabilia, and was an avid reader and walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother David; and nephew, Kenneth Thomas Gentry.

Survivors include siblings, Becky Behrend (Jim), Debbie Gentry (Tom), Darrell Kellogg (Ruthie Elliott), Sharlene Kellogg, Connie Phillips (Jerry), and Tim Kellogg (Kim); nieces and nephews, Amy, Patricia, Amber, Crystal, Darrell Alan, Megan, Breanna, Curtis, Josh, Danielle, Kristan; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Service 1:00 P.M. Thursday, First Baptist Church, St. Joseph. Interment Savannah Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
