Ada P. Jenkins Obituary
Ada P. Jenkins, 76, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
She was born November 8, 1949 in St. Joseph to Raymond and Thelma (Ferguson) Noland. Ada was a 1969 graduate of Lafayette High School.
On July 3, 1971, Ada married Earl Thomas Jenkins. They shared 24 years of love and companionship before he preceded her in death on January 19, 1995.
She worked in various positions at the Green Acres Residential Care facility for many years. After Green Acres closed, she worked at the North Belt Walmart.
Ada enjoyed doing crossword and word-search puzzles, and loved to watch TV shows, especially Hallmark Christmas movies.
A hardworking, strong-willed woman, Ada loved her family deeply.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents; and two brothers.
Survivors include her children, Randy Jenkins (Richele) and Lori Jenkins; grandchildren, Lucinda Renae Jenkins, Dakota Thomas-Allen Jenkins, David Milo Miller, and Evangeline Marie Jenkins; great-granddaughter, Jada Rose Merritt; three brothers; and other extended family and friends.
