I got to know Gary better the last ten years of his life. We both stopped, sometimes at the same place to partake of refreshments, as it is called. He was known by everybody by his nickname "Jaws". Someone said it was because of a work accident, but we know it was his love of talking. He was a friend to all. I know he was especially proud of his children, he talked about them all the time.
