Joe was my best buddy most of our high school years at Lafayette.  He fit very snugly in the passenger seat of my '64 Triumph Spitfire while we "terrorized" the north end with Hair Brother pranks and just hanging around all over St. Joe.  Mike Wolfe probably remembers the three of us sailing down the Belt Highway at 80 mph one night taking Joe home to Deer Park one night in that little car with Joe wedged between the seats and the gas tank behind (got a speeding ticket for doing that).  Joe was always ready to play pitch and to try to keep Bockelman out of trouble (or was it to get Bock in trouble?).

I missed out on much of Joe's life after high school having moved down south, but he was a great friend and a kind-hearted man.  Love to you, Little Joe.  Please say hi to your parents for me (Peaches and Herb).
