Married Lennox Campbell, union bore 6 wonderful children. The journey was not always wonderful, it was an abusive relationship that lasted 14 years and left me as a single mother to raise and provide singlehandedly for my children. However, based on my harvest , the price was worth it.
The children are now grown and are all very successful. So after giving marriage a 2nd try, I've decided that I am most fulfilled as a single mother. I've climbed to the top of the Corporate ladder but I discovered that my passion is writing. I revised and republished my 1st book, 'Crosses to Bear Love to Share a Dedication to Single Mothers. It details the pain and abuse we were made to endure, but more importantly it portrays a God Fearing Mother who is 100% committed to the well being of her children. The story transforms from a lifestyle of Fear to one of Freedom and Love. The story is one of HOPE and imparts a message that giving-up is never ever an option.
So, one day I realized I was over 50 and whenever I took out my grand kids, folks would make comments like; "What beautiful kids you have. Most times I'd let it go but one evening I found myself arguing with this guy trying to convince him that I was the grandmother. So he comes up in my face to let me know that God doesn't like lies.
On my way home the idea hit me, though this guy was annoying he gave me the name of my new book, 'Forever Young At 50+' The task has not been easy but I have enjoyed every minute of it. One year after I started this project, I will launch the book that soon everyone will be talking about, July 31, 2010. This book is a compilation of 100 stories of men and women who have conquered; Abuse, Divorce, Cancer, MS, Molestation, Holocaust Survivor, being kidnapped, bankrupcy and much more. The common theme is that, giving up was never an option.

We've formed our own publishing company, (Six Hearts Publishing), It's not just for us, but also for new writers who have difficulty in getting published.
In closing I am where I am today, only because of the Grace of God. He is my anchor, and I start each day by giving him honor and praise. "The best way to motivate someone is to love them because that is what God does.
