Hope everyone is well.... Toni(Heller) Brush asked me to post her request for prayers.  She is cuurently in the hospital, and is having a heart procedure tomorrow morning due an infection originating from having a heart defibrilator placed about 6 weeks ago.  Please keep her in your prayers. She has been through so much.  Thanks!

Dave Fraser, I just read your post from March 8th - you made me smile AND touched my heart.  At the time I detested the sentimentality of "Time In a Bottle", but 48 years later I understand.

Bob Ayer, your post from 3/10 - you should have asked me to snowball.  55% chance I would have said yes, 45% chance I would have faked an apoplectic attack and toppled over (caused by shyness and a strong "startle" response)!  Ha!

Everyone else - HELLO and thanks for the birthday wishes!  Am currently with friends in Florida and loving the Salt air!

Hey, is it too early to start thinking about our next Class Reunion? Time passes so quickily, I hate to miss the opportunity to be able to look forward to another fun day/night with forever friends!  Ideas?  Volunteers?

It's definitely not too early to open a dialog about a reunion.
Where should it be held? Probably in the Cottage Grove area? Same place as the last reunion?
How much money is in the reunion bank account? Enough to get things rolling?
Did people enjoy the entertianment suppied (hippies on staff and an MC) last time?

If there are tasks to be done, let me know and I'll do the ones I can.

Here's to good health and good friends! Cheers! 🥂

I'm game for a get together! I am hoping to slow down work soon so that I can enjoy things. Any ideas? Big or little. I enjoyed the other graduating class inviting us (a few years ago now) to their get together on Woodbury drive.

By the way, I just heard someone talking about people who refuse to put new photos up. They complained that they are ten years old. So, because time goes so fast for us, and ten years is basesd on a year being 1/65 instead of 1/17, I'm trying to remember to take a new picture so I look like who I am. I read that Neil Young did that trick for his music (not editing and dubbing as much), so his concerts would be what you expected from the album (not saying good, mind you) back in the 70's, causing a break up with CSNY.

My daughter sent this to me. Sue and I have this issue happening all the time:

"Why does my wife always wait until I'm at the opposite end of the house before asking me to 'Merm frner mernferr brnerfer!'?

surprise

Haha! Love this Dave!  We've both learned there is no point in attempting a conversation unless we are in the same room or it sounds just like this!  Who knew all you needed to learn a foreign language was age and distance?!

Becky, we are hoping to age well. Hearing is not the only problem we have. I'm just amazed how many people want to steal from all people; but especially, they target the elderly with their tricks. What about us? Remember when thought we would never be old? A colleague shares, "I'm not old; I am older."

Early 90s picture. Someone just sent this to me - I have no recollection of this picture being taken when or where.

Did someone wanted pictures newer that 10 years old, okay this is 20 years newer than that. 😆

Steve, I didn't take the picture; but, the picture looks great! You are like a fine wine, aging well! I spent the morning helping my aunt fill out paperwork for Boeing Arilines pension; my uncle died a few weeks ago. At 86, she does well, but we both had difficulty navigating the paperwork. If I hang out with 90 year old; I'm not so old. wink

Can anyone tell me what the cause of death of Debbie Hemmingson from St. Paul Park?

Susan Orth

Hello from Colorado! I rarely post, but I always enjoy reading posts from everyone one else
My prayers are always sent to those who have passed and to their loved ones

I am currently recovering from a major surgery on my left leg and after 6 weeks in the hospital. I am blessed to have my Ex. Don Currell and his wife Ginny (Rider) take me in until I am able to do stairs. Then I will go back home to my son's house and get back to being a Grammy to my 3 precious grandchildren. (Two 7 year old girls and a 4 year old grandson.) They are truly the best blessings of my life.
I pray all of you are well and enjoying life to the fullest! Love to all of you! Sue

Happy Easter to you and your family. I pray you have a speedy recovery so you can continue being a Gramma. It is truly a blessing

Susan, Wow! Praying for you! Hope your recovering well! People usually say, "Six weeks in the hospital, are they going to name a new wing after you?"

04/18/22 07:57 PM #2070

Robert Ayre

Yvonne, to answer your question I am sorry I do not have an answer for you. I did not know her.
Sue, sorry to hear of your surgery and of you trying to get a leg up on Dave. I do say a prayer and a hello from you to your parents at Guardian Angel's. You should be healed for our 50th reunion to dance! Nice to hear from those who are in the shadows. Hey snowbirds the lakes are clearing of ice! Time to think about migrating back!

HAPPY Birthday to the April classmates!

Jessica, I see you have a good sense of humor since I fell into the 55% category. Besides you do know that bumbles bounce which I would have done off the ground fainting if you would have said yes had I asked. Do you still have your cabin up north? If so great we are all coming there! Ha!
For those reading thank you for any response for our next reunion. As always I wish everyone good health!

Ok so Yvette kicked my butt on the racquetball court, literally, as she said I was hindering her shot! Are there any more players out there?
Would anyone consider going to a resort with various activities, golfing, tennis or pickleball, poolside lounging...
Just trying to get ideas started!

Susan I too just had major surgery. Mine was on my spine in the neck. Quite a process. They say 6 weeks of recovery for this one also. Since they gave back some of my height loss the muscles have to stretch back out, I can tell you they are not happy. But it will get better!!!
