Anyone who was in Mr. Miller's 6th grade class at Crestview:    Do you remember when he assigned each of us the Spanish version of our first names?  He would address us using those names and we would sign our papers using those names.   Mine was Miguel, of course.   I remember thinking how exotic that was, not having any exposure to Spanish speakers at the time.

Great picture! I drove from Hermantown Duluth in the snow storm; took forever. Saw a semi and car pile up. Steve, I bet you don't see that down there. Anyone hear what number we are after today as the top Snowiest Winters?

Dave here is the 36 inch snow stick I have in my yard.   In Duluth we are about 22 inches away from the all time snowest winter.

Here is an image of Kora watching the sun set while boating in the Gulf of Mexico taken last week in Florida.  We were down visiting her brother for week.

John, what a difference in weather. Kora looks like she is enjoying the warm breeze; can't wait for some of this snow to melt from a warm breeze. The local news told about two weeks ago that we were close to breaking into an all time top ten list for snowiest winter. Sure looks beautiful out the window; but all the honking of cranes, swans, and geese makes me wonder how they are enjoying the weather.

Using Ancestry.com databases and Newspapers.com, I located an online obituary for our classmate, Sharon Renee Koppinger (Kummer).

Sharon was born 16 November 1956 and married Thomas L. Kummer 11 November 1989.  She died on 05 June 1993.  Her last residence was Rosemount, MN.

I was not able to find an obituary for our classmate, Valerie Ann Williams, but using Ancestry.com databases I was able to find some additional information.

Valerie was born 12 September 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Philip West Haskard and Shirley Grigsby.

Valerie married Roger A. Schrade on 11 August 1978 and divorced on 20 November 1984. 

Valerie died 26 April 1985 in Washington county, Minnesota.

Using online searches and Ancestry.com databases, I was able to find definitive additional information on 10 of the 12 classmates that were in the "Deceased Year Unknown" group in the "In Memory" section.

That leaves two classmates with uncertain information ... William Crusen and William S. McKinley.

There is information available on folks with same/similar names ... but I am not confident that I have found the right one ... our classmate.

Perhaps you know something about William Crusen or William S. McKinley that would be an additional "clue" to help the search?  ... such as ... Parent's names? Sibling's names? Spouse's name?  Birth date?  Birth location?  Residence location(s)?  Any one of these things would be helpful to the search.
