Lueders Boat Yard, a law office, Dorr Oliver (where with Ginger Wilder and another friend became a formidable force on the softball scene (ha) Finally was with Perkin Elmer when Sputnik went up. After marrying my husband went into dairy farming in the Hudson Valley.
I have been retired for 10 years from Kildonan School where I taught dyslexic students for 20 years. I remain the permanent substitute. My son and only grandson live in Singapore. Lewis spends every summer with me (he is 14) I am also on the board of Greystone, an organization working with autistic persons. My daughter resides at one of their group homes. My husband Tom is semi-retired. He enjoys making furniture and keeping my cousin’s revolutionary era farmhouse in good repair. Our older daughter is in a group home and works at IBM. I still love to read and am on the Amenia Library Book Selection Committee. Am volunteering at a local elementary school helping a 2nd grader with his reading. Also, involved in a learning program under the aegis of Marist College for we oldies who want to keep the brain cells intact.
