Still working full time and heavily involved in the cuurent COVID pandemic, espicially in South America, but travel impossible these days. Stay safe everyone

I perform health impact analysis for large infrastructure projects, e.g., dams, oil/gas, mines, in developing countries. I do this work for the World Bank, International Finance Corporation and other large clients. I also teach part-time at the University of Colorado Graduate School, Department of Toxicology and also at Princeton University in the Woodrow Wilson School. While I live in one of the best places in America (Boulder) I find myself more often than not in rather remote settings all around the world! Currently I am working in Africa, South America, Eastern Europe (Bulgaria) and SE Asia, a long way from Statesville!

My biggest focus is in Brazil where I am part of the health team evaluating impacts from the largest dam failure in Brazil. I also am increasingly doing more work in Ghana with a close scientific colleague who is head of a large demographic health research center.

I still try and publish professionally/scientifically 1-2 times per year although I have stopped writing books, which still are available on Amazon so please order several! Just kidding!

I certainly miss the fun times in the band with my firends like Bob Caldwell, and of course Mr. Calabrese who I remember with great fondness. I certainly dont forget all of the antics that occurred in senior physics with Mr. Cook. I look back with pleasure at Mrs. Tharpe's classes in math and realize she was a wonderful teacher of a type and style that dont much exist anymore.
