I remember Jennifer falling off the bridge...I thought she was dead!

Ordered 6 kegs today and 25 gallons of margaritas for the wedding...It's going to be a barn burner on July 26!!!!!!

Saranie. I remember her falling off the bridge. If I remember right, Bradley gave her a ride home, in the back of the truck, because you know that she had to stink.

Stephen Saranie

I remember looking down there and not being able to see her...I did go down to the ditch, but I did'nt get in the water. I think Bradley did take her home.

Teresa-It is about time you joined us! We need some more brains to remember stories....I know you have some to tell girl....and I know I will be laughing.

Beth-How did Ms. Brooks not get fired...even by one of parents of the students?! I had a tougher teacher....Ms. Meins.

Margo-Wow that is a crazy trip in itself...hope all the kids entertain themselves!

Wesley-I totally get your comments on the war and I can not imagine EVER experiencing any of that. Each night as I hit my pillow I thank God for our troops and that my family is going to bed in peace. I really mean that....So thank you Wesley and David and all the other troops. We really need to pray for America....we are selling our country off to other nations each day. Now we do not even own Bush Beer!

Scott thank you for asking about my family. Christopher is doing better, but still can't be in the sun for long. My mother is healing, but going to therapy three days a week still. We all try and focus on that God saved her from something far worse, but at the same time it has been very painful and a long healing process. Thank you so much for asking. Anything Abigail wants for her bday??

Ranae- WHAT?? I am cracking up at the phone thing. Did people even have cell phones then?? What were we thinking. Do you remember us wrapping ourself in plastic wrap and going to walk in the middle of summer to try and lose weight. I did that a lot!! I also have BIG memories of pool parties at your house that lasted into the night. MMMMMMM...(more like Junior High-rated....NOT X-rated here people)

Its about time Teresa!!
I do remember greezy Veazey. What was the guy before him? He was crippled. Wow, I can't remember his name. He was mean too. I still have my flute. My flute case has my name painted with paint makers in dot letters. If one of your girls needs a flute....she can use mine.

Who remembers Joyce? She would come and punch people in the stomach.

Margo
I feel for you girl. You better take the wine with you, your going to need it.
When we went last week we had 6 kids, 4 adults. Try going out to eat with that number....its hard. We didn't do it often, most of the time we put our kids to bed and ordered take out.

Teresa
it is TILS. I loved that store!!

I don't remember the phone thing either. That is hilarious. I do remember the pool parties at Ranae's though....they were so much fun. Now that I am a parent...I don't know how your parents did that. It would drive me crazy!! I can hardly stand for my kids to have people over to play, much less a whole crew of them in the swimming pool.

oh yeah....speaking of margarita's....i have a really good recipe for them. I am picky about how they taste and this recipe is so easy and they are the best I've ever had. Maybe i'll make them by the gallon for our reunion.

Beth Carter (Dawson)

One more thing.....Stephen and Bradley...that is so precious of you guys that you went down to get Jennifer Green out of the ditch. Was Bradley dating her or something? You were REAL men even in High School. Going after the damsel in distress.

16/07/08 08:44 AM #389

Ashley Crosby (Adams)

Yes I had forgotten JOYCE! How do you remember these things?! Yes I have since thanked Ranae's parents and told them how I could not believe how many kids they had over, and how much money their family spent on us in food, snacks, drinks.... you name it. They said they loved it and wanted to know where their kids were and what they were doing. SMART! I took note of that. Ranae's house was the Youth Center for a few years there.

Margo
We went to Orange Beach in June. We had 8 kids and it was TRULY entertaining. Actually it was pleasant. BUT........ we had 3 teenagers therefore they did MOST of the entertainig. I can say.......NOT one dull moment! I think you were the one asking about jellyfish. ? The 1st couple of days they were pretty bad but the rest of the time it was fine.

Scott & Beth
Where did you guys stay?

Wes
My email is ranaelward@yahoo.com. Physical 1402 E. 22nd Stuttgart. Would LOVE for you to write.

Jason
How did your boys do this year in their state tournaments?
Scott went to Bryant to watch Eric's oldest, Jackson, play in the finals. I don't know if he saw Dalton play or if he talked with some of the coaches, but he had WONDERFUL things to say about him. Must have gotten his athletic ability from his mom! HAHA

Teresa
I have my flute also. BUT.... mine also has my name painted all over the case in BIG BUBBLE LETTERS OH..... DONE WITH PAINT MARKERS!!haha It also has mauve colored nail polish with hot pink polka dots on the mouth piece. I think this was to keep the silver mouth piece from turning my bottom lip black..... Who knows?? I think I believed ANYTHING I was told.

Ashley
What about riding around in Victor C. truck on Sunday afternoons? Oh and lets NOT forget running out of gas because we didn't know he had 2 tanks on his truck!

Scott M
I hate to hear that about your dad. He was a great man. Taught his kids very well. After getting back in touch with you and reading about you, you should be very proud of who you are!! He brought you up with GREAT respect and values. We lost Scott's dad to the same thing a couple of years ago. He, the same as you "takes care of his mom"...... GOTTA LOVE THOSE BOYS!!

EVERYONE
I showed my dad Otis Hill's profile page with the pictures of "ONE" of the parties at our clubhouse........
I DON'T think he was real impressed! haha

Back when we were in school I SWORE all the guys would call my dad and tell him what I did that night or weekend........ SO...... time to CONFESS.... DID YOU?

No really... This question makes me laugh. Only because Logan tells me I know more about him than he knows about himself. All parents have to do is LISTEN.......KIDS tell ALL and then some!!

16/07/08 09:53 AM #393

Ranae Lammers (Ward)

My PARENTS did love everyone being there! They would do the same today! It's funny we are talking about this........ Last night at Logan's Legion baseball game mom and I were sitting in the stands talking about this forum and web site. Everyone was listening and laughing. Then I turned around and asked mom......... "MOM I have a GREAT idea.....What about us having our reunion around the pool and in the shop at your house? YOU KNOW DAD WOULD WANT THAT!!" She just looked at me. I laughed!!

Ranae. Good to hear from you. Dalton was on the 12 year old team. They finished 4th at Lakewood. Sawyer was on the 7 year old team. They finished in a tie for 9th place with a few other teams in then Sylvan Hills tournament. Karlees softball team finished 3rd in the state topurnament, and we are done with baseball for the year, thank God. Tell your parents we said hello. We had some of the funnest parties I can remember at that deer camp.

I think Mrs. Brooks did get fired. The next year I think....

Ranae
I do have so many memories at your house. Man, I just can't imagine how crazy we must have driven your mom. I remember that bed you had that everyone signed. Do you still have it?

Someone asked me earlier where we went to the beach....we were in Seaside. I think Scott was in Gulf Shores.

16/07/08 08:15 PM #396

Margo Watkins (Hafner)

Ranae- I remember so vividly having a big bunkin party at your deer camp when we were in about 4th grade! It was Tiffany, Leah, Julie Baedke, etc and we roasted marshmellows and stayed up til about 4am. I remember your mom yelling out of her bedroom for you to be quiet!! (Imagine that!) I do look back at all those get togethers at your place and wonder how your parents were able to keep their sanity!

Thanks for the kind words, Theresa. I never thought I would be working @ an elementary school. I went from coaching college football to being an Asst. Principal @ an elementary school! Ha HA ....best job I ever had! We are getting married July 26- Slovak 7:00...come on out if you want! YOU CRACK ME UP! If you need some help with your spelling, I can probably get you some help....Mrs. Meekins is still teaching typing if you need some help with your typing.

I saw Mr Santucci's wife the other day in Pine Bluff. Santucci got married to Ms. Horn. She was the science teacher when we were in the 8th grade. She looks the same as when we were in Junior High!

Teresa. I will always remember Mr Branson calling you Zepelin in class. I think it was drafting class. That was the class that we got to listen to the radio in all the time.
