Well, I worked part-time for 5 years as a car washer and handy-man for Arden's as well as for La Barbera Liquors as I worked at Bk.of Am full time (I worked @ Moore Bus. Forms 1st for 5 mos.). Then I worked at J.P.R. Electronics as a plater for about 4 yrs., sold Ins. 1 yr., worked in jwly. stores for Crescent-Kays-& Zales in San Jose for about 3 yrs., had my own jewelry stores- (Emerald & Esmeralda) in Santa Clara-S'vale. & Gilroy for 9 yrs. while l iived in Sn.Jose, worked as a machine op. and all around machinist 5 yrs.in S'vale.,went back to sales for Hudson-Goodman 3 yrs., moved here to Ceres-worked in auto sales about 18 yrs., wrote-"Going for the Gold" in 2006 and now just getting ready to publish "Lean on Me--Lee" (1st. children's book) in Mar., while
working on making a movie about true adventure in "Going for the Gold". Was married for 37 yrs, when my wife died in Feb. 2005 and it has not been easy since. Trying to date is not easy either.

Just that I loved sports as I seamed to have a lot of energy. I was almost always the shortest in football, basketball and baseball-I should have gone out for baseball instead of track as I was much better at it. Broke my collar bone in football playing in Junior Varsity in last year--which broke my heart too because that was my favorite sport. I remember being in the locker waiting before that last game I played and I was approched by our center when he asked-Joe--what are we going to do whithout you if "you" get hurt??
