./So what do you guys think of the design? There are several "logo" templates of which this is the most bearable. There are also "themed" templates where the border has things from the 90s (MJ, 90210, etc) but we can't see our logo.

Thoughts?

So I was a little disappointed to have not seen as many MT grads at Masa. But i will say it was a place unsuited for a pre-reunion gathering.

Nonetheless, if you saw me there, you know I had a good time :)

when are we going to know the official details of the actual reunion?

Can we please not have the reunion at a established bar? The last thing I want to see is old classmates getting sloshed.

Yeah you're right Marques - Masa's wasn't a good idea for the type of get-together we planned. Me and Jessica are planning a couple for next month. Keep ya'll posted!!!!

What ideas do you have planned for the actual reunion?

i disagree with the Deanster...I think we should have alcohol involved. I already feel like an old man!

I picked Friday, August 21st as the reunion date. I was just wondering if that means it will be an evening thing on Friday since most work during the day and then follow up on Saturday with a potluck in a park where people can bring their family, maybe play a little baseball or something. If we know a lot of kids are coming we can organize sack races or whatever. This is totally not for me because I don't have any kids, but a lot of people do and I'm sure they will want to show them off :-). This should hopefully be very low cost since people will bring food. All the alumni committee would need to worry about is reserving a spot at a park, posting a list of usual potluck food to make sure we cover all the basics, probably supply plates/napkins/cups/utensils (unless we can make them a few alums potluck items), and then some little prizes for the kids. These types of BBQ/picnics joined with a night of music, dancing, and drinking for the adults usually seem to go over well.

You guys are doing a great job! Thanks for the website!

Vivian - did I see you @ Masa's? I thought I did, but I was drunk. Oh as far as the reunion, it will be @ The Vault. And yes, there will be alcohol served (4 bartenders). But there's way more to it than that, FOR SURE! And Jessica, that is a fabulous idea what you just shared! Very nice! I'm still gonna win our challenge! Muah hahahahaha . . . Vivian, we'll post details when they're finalized. Which will be soon!

It's 4/17 @ The Swiss. There's another one on 5/2 - those details coming soon . . .

I'd honestly feel better if we held a gathering at some place like the Hurricane Cafe, where alcohol wouldn't be so much a problem nor a specific reason for showing up. Unfortunately, I don't quite remember how large their banquet room is, and I realize a lot of people would end up getting lost just trying to find the place.

Oh well, it's a suggestion, at the very least.
