OMG --- I just got an email saying I had not been on this site in 6 MONTHS and it's TIME TO UPDATE MY PROFILE... No need to do that, BUT,it is... TIME TO WRITE ALL OF YOU and SAY, HI, I AM THINKING OF YOU, REMEMBERING OUR WONDERFUL TIMES TOGETHER IN AUG AND BACK IN HS.
I'm sure everyone else has had just as busy lives as me since Reunion... I have moved twice and am settled in a one bedroom Apt that is very homey, comfortable, and conveniently located for my needs. I am happy to be "home" in my own space... it's just a matter of figuring what to do with all that "stuff" I am paying storage on, ha. Isn't it amazing... if you don't see it for a while ... you realize you really could "live without it"... LOL. I'll deal with that when the weather stays warm. A Belated Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Birthday Wishes to Everyone I missed while I was MIA. Hugs and Kisses to one and all. Love Melinda

Ok, whatever pic was on the homepage of me in Jan I missed it, but I'm sure Bill will be in trouble!! I have been out of the mix since I went back to work, driving the semi with Tim and just got a new laptop so I could see what is going on and guessed I missed it. Maybe it's a good thing?........I hope to keep up to date now with everyone. We had a good Holiday season....Our kids are getting their lives cleaned up, so I don't have to stay home a raise grandkids....love them dearly, but just want to be Grandnan, not a stay at home grandma..
Love you all and enjoy looking at the pics. I posted some on Flikr but apparently didn't get them linked up correctly so they are somewhere on Flikr under my name. Good luck in finding them. Happy Spring! Tim and I have been in all the really bad storms on the east coast! AND the ice storms in the Central US. Haven't crashed yet, but seen some really bad ones. Later....

Nancy - I'll get that picture back up for you. Claudia and I will be working on getting all of those pictures on Flikkr. She has moved back to Tehachapi - yeah!!!!

During your travels maybe you could take some pictures to share with us. You two really get around :)

HEY BILL I GOT A SPOT ALL PICKED OUT FOR YOU. MY OLD CLAIM. WHEN I SPENT 6 MO. IN THERE I NEVER SAW ANOTHER HUMAN BEING UNTILL WHEN SOME GUY CAME THROUGH DURING HUNTING SEASON. WHILE TALKING TO HIM I FOUND OUT THAT I WAS STARTING TO LOSE MY ABILITY OF SPEECH. I GUESS THATS WHY OLD MTN. MEN GO AROUND TALKING TO THEMSELVES. SOMETHING THAT I STARTED DOING AFTER HE LEFT. I WAS IN THERE LAST YEAR SHEEP HUNTING AND HAVE TO DRIVE ACCROSS ANOTHER GUYS CLAIM ON THE WAY I ALLWAYS STOP AND VISIT. I DIDNT KNOW WHO HE WAS WE JUST ALLWAYS TALK ABOUT THE SHEEP AND BEARS. WELL LAST YEAR I FOUND OUT HE WAS SARAH PALINS DAD. DIDNT TELL HIM THAT I WASNT TO FOND OF HIS DAUGHTER. BUT MADE ME REALIZE WHERE SHE GOT HER MONEY DADDYS A GOLD MINER. DIDNT ASK HOW HIS MINEING WAS GOING THEY ALL LIE ANY WAY. LITTLE DID I KNOW WE ALL KNEW THE SAME PEOPLE. AND HE ASKED IF I WAS STILL MINEING THE GORGE. TOLD HIM I SOLD IT SHOOK HANDS AND LEFT. No Bill there won't be anyplace for you to hide. Just ask my husband, lost something?.......I can find anything, anywhere and won't stop 'til I do!!! Many people don't realize it but I have a stubborn streak miles and miles long!! Ask people who tried to duck out of town without paying the bank for NSF fees, I found them.............I'll find you too!!!!

I JUST THOUGHT I'D GET ON LINE AND SEE WHAT'S GOING ON ON OUR WEBPAGE AND I'M GLAD SOME OF US ARE STILL CHATTING AND KEEPING IN TOUCH. I do have some great news, you probably don't remember back in school I was working at the soaring school (Holiday Heaven) Phil (Drain) and Wayne Bush, worked with me there,anyway, we had a contract with NASA to train the new Astronauts to soar for the new shuttle program. Well, I had signed up for the Astronaunt program and after all these years, I got my call, it seems they need me to pilot the first ship to the "BIG RED " planet-Mars, so I'll be out of touch for quit some time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol,lo,lol,

This past week was the 2nd anniversary since my husband, Ed, transitioned to "the unseen realm". It has been a week of "ups and downs" emotionally, which is to be expected. Time isn't what it used to be... it seems like no time has passed since he was with me, us, in one way and in another it seems like "forever ago" and that yesterday was a dream, or today is. Where has time gone... where do the days go... anyone else relating? I am fine... there is just always so much to do it seems...

We have had snow and rain the last couple of days and my apt sits low ... I found water had seeped in under the patio door-jam last night ... carpet cleaners coming to extract and clean today... they will put a sump pump in out there next week I am told...

All is well ... have errands to run... Blessings to everyone, praying for you and SEEing many good things in our futures. Mel

I'm not a football fan, but even I am impressed that someone I know is related to someone who plays NFL football! And the fact that he has the same last name as me will make it easier to keep up with his success (Not related as far as I know). Ken, does this mean you will get free tickets to games he plays or will you have to watch him on TV like the rest of us? Congrats best of luck to him!

Eleazar - Maybe you could ask those who are going to be in town to get together at one of our restaurants for lunch or dinner. Phil and I will be in Seattle for the long week-end so I'll miss seeing you. So nice that you want to get together.

It might be nice if we could plan an informal get together over festival week-end in August. Lots going on then. I think some of our classmates who haven't been too involved with the reunions show up for Mountain Festival. I think Class of '70 has a reunion that week-end too. We might plan to meet at the park. There is food, drink and music.

If anyone is interested, I can post the details on the website. Anyone interested?
