Happy New Year everyone. We've been asked to post our choice location for our upcoming reunion. I vote for the Depot. The Depot is located at the center of town. From there you can see Tehachapi in all directions. On a warm August night we can sit outside on the Depot platform and watch the trains feet away, we can walk up and down the block, we can wave at the cars on "G" Street. There is plenty of room to hang out and chit chat with each other. Enough said. Hope to see you all soon.

Greetings from the great white north.

Rumour has it, or at least the message board reports, the reunion this year will be Aug 16th and 17th. Could I get a reliability check on that date. If it is correct, there is a good chance I will show up. School does not start until Aug 25th, and the business beforehand are meetings that are less than worthless. Also, if that date is correct I will probably come up early on that date to golf at the course; if anyone is interested in having an outing on the golf course let me know. I look forward to coming back to techachapi and attending the reunion.

See you in 10 weeks.

Connie I wish we could be at the old timers picnic (are we really old enough?) but we can only come out for one so it will be the festival! It would be awesome to have a get together! Don't tell Gary but I folunteer his place??!

So sorry to hear obout Ruth. I have been on a health battle myself got an infection called MERSA after a hip replacement. I am finally winning the battle but am now so much more appreciative of life. I don't know how to update my profile but I have 2 more grandchildren Brody 3 and Maddy 18 months so thankful I will be able to watch them grow up I also retired.
