Sounds amazing!  Maybe, some day I will make it to France, who knows, stranger things have happened 😊. My hubby is not at all interested in leaving the  USA, so that lessens the likelihood that I will make it, unless I can find another to travel with.

It is funny to see you address me as Katherine, I was Kathy all through school.  Our year will be great no matter what happens!  Have a blessed New Year!

Hi to you all, and thanks to Connie, Margo, Kathy, and Ann for the happy birthday wishes.  Yes, France is a beautiful country, but especially in the summer (unless you like skiing).  It is further north than Maine so even the summers are usually not too hot.  It seems like everywhere we go there are beautiful fields full of crops and the topography is such that there always seems to be a beautiful view right around the corner.  Our home has been a "project of love", rescueing a building that would have been torn down in just a couple of years due to neglect.  Except for taking some vacation time during the 90 days we are allowed to stay in the EU, we have worked hard to bring the place back to life.  We currently have 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms completed, and a new kitchen, laundry/pantry room, living room and a great room.  I will be working in the attic, or grenier, this year to finish it off creating another bedroom and bath plus a nice living area as well.  For those who like to see the world France is a great place to visit.  We will have the place full almost the entire time we are there this year, hopefully getting a little help at the same time!  Anyway, happy 2020 to everyone and I hope we are all able to have another reunion soon.  Phil

Thanks to Ann (Martinez) for the birthday wishes.  I did have a great time.  Alison and I, along with 2 friends went to a New Year's Eve celebration with a great band and lots of entertainment.  Since it was in Mexico the dancing was mostly Salsa and that was alot of fun.  I hope you had a great day as well and that all is going well for you.  Phil

Hi Ann,  I hope that this birthday won't be remembered for the horrible situation we are having in the world right now!  We have had to cancel travel plans and have hunkered down at home to try and stay safe.  I hope you, too, are able to stay healthy.  Try and enjoy your birthday, ok?  Phil

Hi Rick,  I hope this birthday isn't remembered for all the turmoil going on around the world.  I assume that you are not preaching to a full house these days, no?  I miss going to church but Alison and I are hunkering down as much as possible.  There will be a lot of statistics (deaths) from Corona but we don't plan on being part of them.  Anyway, have a great day and stay safe.  Phil

Hey brother John, I hope you are doing fine and that you have a great birthday.  Since my family is staying at home for an indefinite period of time I hope you at least are able to make the most of your special day.  What a thing to remember, no?  Take care,  Phil

I am saddened to see we have lost Janice. Our friendship was cemented when we couldn't go to 6th grade camp along with others. She was so nice to me when I moved here in 5th grade and was one of the first students to be nice and talk to me. I saw her at the Old Timers Picnic last summer, I'm glad.

Hi Mike,  I hope your 69th is a great one for you.  I'm getting way to close to 70, but seeing that we just lost another classmate every year is precious, no?  Anyway, enloy your day, and year, and stay safe.

Phil

Hi Donna,  Welcome to the 69 club, lol.  I actually only have 6 weeks left and I hit the time when I go backwards:  I will be 68 again.  Right?  I don't know of any benefits to turning 70, do you?  Anyway, I hope all is well.  Stay safe.

Phil

Hi Ann.  Yes, it is great to go first!  In fact, it is great to have each year, no?  We are all at the age where we can expect to lose one of "our own" (classmates) each year and that is no fun.  I sure hope Covid 19 doesn't take its toll on any of us.  Stay safe, keep healthy.  Phil

Good morning, and happy birthday to Anni.  It is probably already the day after for you, if you are in Denmark.  Am I right about that, or just getting old?  Any way, I hope all is well and that you are staying healthy during these trying times.  Phil
