Diane Robertson Bristow

I was married in 1970 and now we have been together for 50 years. After living in Torrance, I lived in Van Nuys, CA then we moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1975 where my husband was in the Air Force. From there we moved back to CA in 1982 and lived in Lompoc (Santa Barbara County) for several years where we both worked at Vandenberg AFB. I worked for Lockheed Space Operations after a few years with Civil Service. Then in 1995 we moved to El Dorado Hills (Sacramento area) where we currently live. I worked several years with a commercial property developer in downtown Sacramento until I left for "just a year" but decided to call it retirement. My "job" was babysitting (proudly) my three grandkids while my son and his wife are making their way through the working world. I now just enjoy retirement with me husband.

I lost my mother in January 2011 (she was 86) and my father in April 2017 (he was 97). It was a big wake-up call to me on how fast life goes by!! I just wish we could slow down the remainder of our lives. We just need to enjoy every day we have!!!!
