Howie EGBERT

Went to U of A graduating in '68. One of only 3 non-Distinguished Graduates from AF ROTC. Went to pilot training at Williams, flew forward air control missions out of NKP Thailand, then off to Del Rio TX as a T-37 instructor. Stationed at Randolph AFB in San Antonio for 3 years, then upgraded to the F-4 and assigned to Ramstein German. Back to San Antonio on the faculty at the Officer Training School, then 8 years in Air Force Recruiting Service (I wasn't the guy in the local mall) retiring out of the headquarters at Randolph. 18 year stint at USAA insurance co. and then retired in 2011 to devote more time to golf and getting in the way at home. Celebrated 30th anniversary to my wife Terri, last October aka, the "World's Luckiest Woman" and have not matured mentally since my senior year.
