Update #14 September 27, 2023
As of Sept 27th, we have reached full capacity with the Westward Look & cannot accept any more reservations for Friday or Saturday night. We now have a waiting list - email Julie Kipps (pvrezz@gmail.com) if you want to be added. If there are cancellations, we will notify you promptly. In addition, as of this late date, we cannot provide any refunds as the venue has been paid in full.
Thank you for your understanding.
**See the new page "REUNION How To Prepare Tips".**
Friday’s Happy Hour welcomes an (optional) early '70s vintage dress theme. For inspiration, here's Martha Peyton who exemplifies perfectly the girls' fashion of 1971.
Ok, guys, we know you didn't have all the fashion accessories we ladies did, BUT you can order puka shells or '70s guy necklaces from Amazon for under $19. C'mon, look cool again!

THEN
NOW
Join us for the CAMPUS TOUR (we can cruise by "the Bone," maybe even get lunch there) and later back to the WWL for more fun at the rollicking MUSIC GAME, both on Sat!
(See headings in left column for info.)
The Reunion is October 6-8, 2023.

Update #13 September 1, 2023
As the question "Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is?," blared out on radios and turntables in the fall of 1970, we were settling into our second year at Rincon. And now, half a century later, the same question is back. There are many answers, but perhaps the most fun is... YES - it's time for our 50th reunion!
We've been planning, communicating and looking forward to this milestone event for the past year, and now it is getting close. The days are ticking down and the excitement is really starting to hit!
There are two weeks left to reserve your reunion spot (last day to pay is Fri, Sept 15th) to get in on the fun. We now have 154 classmates and guests coming from Germany, Canada, 17 states and all over Arizona for a fabulous fall weekend at a terrific place. ** Resort room block expires Wed, Sept 6th.**
Deadlines for the reunion payment and some events, like the music trivia game, RHS campus tour and wine cellar, are upon us. If you've even thought about coming, read "Should I Go?" in the left column and take the plunge. It only happens once, and a great time awaits each one of you!
See you soon.
-Juliana (Julie)

-Sly and the Family Stone, 1969
Sly’s song reflects the fun and games being had during summer and the making of carefree memories. And soon, in October, there’ll be another chance for fun and games at our 50th reunion. Imagine the memories! Hope you’ve signed up to attend. Time is fleeting.

Update #11 July 1, 2023
Happy mid-Summer fellow Rangers!
Do you enjoy wine - maybe rose in these temps? Whether it's a weekend party with friends, a special family celebration, or our Rincon '73 event, a nice bottle of wine can be a treasured ingredient in the experience!
For our 50th Reunion in October, we've added a fun new activity. Check out the new page "The Wine Cellar" at the left and see what's fermenting!
Also, discover other offerings to be had at The Westward Look on the Reunion Lodging page.
And, we hope you like the new reunion countdown clock. Mark your calendars as it's coming up!

Update #10 June 1, 2023
and that's what Alice Cooper was belting out on June 7, 1973.... and while that wasn't exactly true for many of us back then, it certainly is the case for nearly everyone now!
"No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks!" Some of those came from "the adults" because our dress code was changing. Click on the "daring" styles the girls were wearing at the new "Teen Girls' Fashion" link in the left column.
School may be out, but celebrating with "young" friends and having a great weekend never is! And that's exactly what's in store for all Class of '73 Rincon Rangers who are signing up to come to the reunion. Want more information? Check the links at the left.
Still not sure about coming? See "Should I Go" at the left. It's really going to be a blast!
Julie (Juliana)
P.S..... Will join us? Who knows? See his profile. (Vince Furnier)

Update #7 March 23, 2023
"Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz, my friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends."
- Joplin, Neuwirth, McClure, 1970
A message from Janis......
Hey Rangers, I may be in the Great Beyond, but even I've joined the website, signed up for the reunion, and beat the early bird special like a few far-out RHS '73 chicks and dudes...but for the rest of you, what's your excuse? C'mon it's just 6 months away, and by now you know how time flies. So check out the pages at the left, do what needs to be done, and get ready to...
PARTY !!!
I'm only here for a little while.... and so are you!
Peace and love,
Janis

Update #6 March 1, 2023
“I just want to celebrate another day of livin’
I just want to celebrate another day of life.”
-Rare Earth, 1971
MARCH offers up much to celebrate, including the beginning of Spring, basketball’s “March Madness” (Go Cats!), International Women’s Day (the 8th), Daylight Savings Time (the 12th) though not in Arizona, Pi 3.14 Day (the 14th), St Patrick’s Day (the 17th) and the Vernal Equinox (the 20th) with the 50-50 split between day and night. Equally important, it’s also time to celebrate the year of our 50th high school reunion!
If you haven’t yet discovered, there are a couple of new postings to the “Memorabilia” page, along with the addition of two new “Profile” questions. Please take a few minutes to review both and transport yourself back in time. The “Birthdays” page has also been updated.
Important! If you will be attending the reunion, please consider submitting your payment now to help offset ongoing costs of planning. The Early Bird price special is in effect until April 30. See the “Reunion Cost” page on website for details. Your name will be added to the upcoming “Attendees” page once payment is received. Also, consider reserving your room at the Westward Look if you want to stay on site. We have blocks of rooms at a reduced rate that must be booked for us to continue to add more. See the “Reunion Lodging” page for details.
Have a wonderful transition into Spring! See you in October!
-Juliana (Julie)

Update #5 February 1, 2023
February’s birthstone is the amethyst, a purple variety of quartz. Its color seems fitting for a Ranger reunion update photo. If you haven’t already, check out the February Birthdays page and consider wishing those classmates a Happy Birthday via a private message - the link is located on their profile.
By now, some of you may have visited the 50th Reunion Page for detailed information on reunion cost and lodging. Just a reminder, there is an Early Bird special in effect until April 30, 2023 for your ticket. Don’t let this bargain opportunity escape you!
The Memorabilia page has new photos and a blurb about our cars back in high school. If you have any shots of your “ride” back then, consider emailing them to me along with your story and I’ll post.
Finally, if you know of someone who has not joined the website but you’d like to see at the reunion, please consider reaching out to them and providing our website address. The Committee has already snail mailed 260+ letters and sent countless emails over the past few months, but there are still a lot of classmates to find. Your help is appreciated in this attempt.
Thanks everyone! Countdown to October!
-Juliana (Julie)

We are always attempting to reach our 650+ classmates. About half have been contacted through email and snail mail, but over half are yet to be located so we need your help! We want everyone to take part in the fun, even if they can't attend the reunion events in October.
Cheers!
