I remember Bruce as if it was yesterday. Who could forget that red hair.  He was a braniac, so smart, so witty, so sweet.  I send prayers for his family.  I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I first met Bruce when we were five.  He was the little red haired kid who lived a block away and we played in the Edgewood park.  Then came the Venice school system first through twelfth.  It didn't stop there.  In our middle age years Bruce, Mike Shrode, David Lawrence, and I went boat camping in the Everglades in all kinds of weather, and come what may, for a week every year for twenty six years in a row,   To say we had fun would be an understatement.  For the last twenty years Bruce and I once again lived one block apart.  We also own burial plots in the Jesse Knight cemetary across from each other, and one row apart.  So, yes, I knew him well.  On occasion we would butt heads.  He had his ways and I had mine.  But in the final analysis, Bruce was one of my closest friends and I will miss him.

Where do I begin....Bruce is a good friend to me! He was always letting me know when I have "rigged" things too far (my hanging speakers in my Falcon to name one) and to this day, I think about that on every project I do! He was there during my ups and downs to offer his "witty way" of advice. He was a great person to know and will miss him but know that he is still with us in spirit! Till we meet again. . . love you my friend!

I first met Bruce in 1st grade. He was my partner in the Maypole celebration. I think we were paired because of our bright red hair. I went to Epiphany for several years, time passed I did not see Bruce. Then came high school. We were both teased about our red hair, we bonded. I will miss Bruce, he and Pam attended EVERY reunion meeting. To this day, I am still good freinds with Bruce's band of brothers, the Baja Boys. Great friends to have through eternity.

I can't remember the first time I met Bruce.  He's just always been there. He has left his mark throughout the community he called home, and worked tirelessly to improve it and make it safer for all.  He's touched so many with his community activism and pride in his home. He will be missed by many.  Rest easy, my friend.
