I remember walking with Jane through the hallways to classes.  I always found her friendly and witty.

I remember Jane as a quiet and studious woman with a good mind and heart.  She was good friends with Leslie Grove, whom I've lost contact with.  I enjoyed knowing Jane.  May she be at peace,  Barbara

Jane's oldest son put it this way, "her greatest strength was also her greatest weakness". He was right. She was the most determined person I've ever known. She set a plan and goal and wouldn't compromise from her vision. Jane would never give up,admit defeat, not until the last week of her life. She had a great positive attitude, when life gave her lemons, she made lemonade. And she always gave of herself-whatever her family and friends needed from her- she gave freely and with enthusiasm. I could not have asked for a better friend and will miss her always.

I was saddened to hear about Jane Hare's passing.  She was a wonderful person and really enjoyed life.  In high school she always made studying look so easy...and she was fun to be around.  I treasure the friendship we had in high school. Jane was a sweet lady and I know she is missed. Her family are in my prayers.
