To those who didn't come for "no good reason," you are missing a great time! Friday nite was great fun! We ate, drank and visited until the wee hours. Barbara, Jan and I got to bed at 3 AM but I won't say who with! Will be missing and remembering you all tonite!!

I have a lot of pictures to sort thru before I can send them off to Judy for posting on the web site. Unfortunately, I don't have the software to do any retouching, so you'll have to see the awfull truth of what 40 years of good living does to you. Sorry Judy, but I don't think I can remove those 10 pounds....;)

Also a big thank you to Judy and the other 'reunion planners'. It was a great time and I certainly enjoyed seeing everyone. Connie- I loved the pictures of your granddaughter. You certainly have the 2nd best looking granddaughter of the class of 69!! I will look up your son-in-law this week when I go in to have my car serviced.

I knew Bruce felt different when he crossed the RED RIVER but I had to play Boomer Sooner on my cell phone just to get to him a little. Bruce good to hear about all the stuff you do for your kids at school from PTA pres. to etc. Also glad you let Wayne and Steve beat you Sat. For some of you who missed it, you missed out. Here is a little run down as from my point of view. Dickie Grimes, did not know he had so many jokes Victor losing weight Paul was the photo man. Jan D great talker. Sounds like a great state she is living in. Judy did such a good job of putting up the class website that everyone should take avantage of it. Steve was so happy beating Wayne Tate and Bruce plus he loves his grandkids. Hope you knee gets better and better. Pat Von----boy did I mess up Charlie's last name. Notice I quit introducing you guys.. Mary Ann looked great and happy Lynn smiling at all the funny things happening Lynnda the council woman bringing a sheriff with her for protection (just kidding only her hubby Jimmy) Betty and the women surrounding Wayne. About 6 of them did not know Wayne was such a ladies man. I would mention all the names but notice he was really enjoying it. Barry and wife talking about living in Delaware County. Joe only had 1 beer....as, that is what he said?????? Hope he got home OK. I wish Bill and Ron would have had been there as well as Steve, Tommy, Rhea, Carla and others. Did Carl do a good job getting us all together for a picture???? Bet he has done that a few times but did he have to move me 4 times... Connie looks like life has really treated her well. I called her a teacher, which later I realized was her sister..But she let me go right on being wrong. What a woman... letting a man be wrong.... guess when it happens once in a great while they have to enjoy it. just kidding... 07/26/09 11:13 PM #827     Steven Ray (Steve) Postier All- Okay, I have to come clean. I did not play the best golf Saturday. However, I did win the most money. We were playing a game where you chose a partner and I was better at choosing partners than Wayne and Bruce. They are much better golfers than I am. But I am taking all the money that I won and investing it in golf lessons so that I can kick their butts at the next reunion golf tournament. By the way, I think that I have told everyone that I made it in Webster's dictionary for being a slow learner. If you will look under 'UGLY' you will see a picture of Wayne Tate 'putting'.

07/27/09 08:41 AM #829     Betty Gail Charles (Langley) I had a really great time visiting with everyone, and I agree with Ron, everyone looked just like high school. We were all having a hard time believing that it had actually been 40 years since high school. For those of you who did not make it, you were missed. I know that Judy, Jan, Barbara and Steven did a lot of work and I do appreciate all of it. And yes, a special thanks is due Clarence and DeeAnn for letting us use their home. For those of you who did make it, I enjoyed seeing each and every one of you and just wish we could get together more often. Rhea, Tom, Carla -- sorry that illnesses played a part in your not getting to come. Rhea, I do know about caregivers and depending on them! I know how disappointing it is to schedule an outing and then have to cancel. Love to you all and hope to see everyone in the not to distant future. Betty (Charles) Langley

Lavanna- Sheriff Jimmy Sooter (Lynnda Teague's husband) is investigating the fire in downtown Vinita Saturday nite. I'm sure Bill and Chuck are on the list of suspects. Wayne has an alibi as he was at the reunion.

07/27/09 03:15 PM #834     Paul Ray Wever I read in the Tulsa World that 17 people were displaced by the fire. I walked by there and had no idea that anyone was living in the building. Now, First National won't have to clear land for another parking lot.

It was a lot of fun, sorry I couldn't pull myself away from my grandson Saturday night but I sure enjoyed Friday, I never stay up that late, so I must have been having a good time.
