Jan - Oh my gosh! What adventures you've had! I couldn't believe it when I heard that you married someone from Montana. I thought they would bring you back down the mountain, when the snow melted in late spring, in a covered, paddy wagon and foaming at the mouth. But I was wrong and you may have even tamed a little bit of Montana!

You guys have no idea what real life stories Jan can tell! Over the years she has kept me in anticipation for what I will hear the next time we talk. She has added alot of fun and entertainment to the rather uneventful life I have lived!

Guys, I can't help but to have interesting stories about living in MT, there are some very colorful people and we seem to know a lot of them. Like the old neighbor of Dick's parents who one winter night during a blizzard brought into the house and his bed 3 cold new-born piglets to warm up. Sorry to say they died that night, but he didn't move them out of the bed for several days. He's also the chap who during that same winter, his plumbing froze up, so used the bathtub cause it was too cold to go out to the outhouse.. Charming HUH! It gets better (or worse) that spring his mother backed the pickup to the closest door took her scoop shovel and cleaned house. Oh gosh there's no end to a mother's love. These people are why I don't watch soaps.

Was he a cousin of Mr. Doody B.?

Mary Ann, they might be, who knows? Bet they were cut from the same cloth. And I have another family who might be related. Tommy was a twin. Their mother didn't have a enough milk so she put them on the sow pig who actually lived in the house, well one day the pig went down to the pond and so did Tommy and his brother. I'm saddened to tell you that the sow rolled on Tommy's twin and he drowned. (I swear on the Bible that this is true) When Tommy went to school, he could out run the other kids on the playground, he ran on all fours. I actually saw Tommy one day in the bar (Malta) he was asleep/passed out or whatever. But when some of the guys would go by him they would poke him in the ribs and he would woof like a pig does. I SWEAR. You know these MT people kind of make the OK clan seem rather normal..

Thanks to everyone as things went well on stint.

When the nurse was shaving me down there I ask her if she learned that in college. She said No on the job training. Looks funny half a beard.

Hopefully will get to go back to teaching in a week or so.

Again Thanks

Johnny

Johnny glad everything is good. Take care.
By the way it's 0 right now, spring can't be far off.
We were laughing at the fact that we here in the frozen north actually look forward to 0, a real heat wave.

Johnny-I thought it was heart surgery! I think the nurse was a little confused! I don't know that I would have let her near me if she could not locate my heart!
Glad you are doing better!

All-We are coming to Miami for a funeral on Friday. Those of you who read the newspapers please watch for any articles/obituaries for David Froman. He was the Theatre Arts Teacher at NEO. He was our son's mentor! He should have an obituary as he was on Matlock (played the sherif)and was on several other TV shows and movies. If you ever watched The Edge of Night, a very old soap opera, he played Gunter the bodygaurd for Raven. Clay would love to have any articles you might have from the papers. We will check with the Miami News Record on Friday.
Thanks

Carla,

It was heart, that is where they start to put the line up to heart and place the stent.

I heard about him, in which what a good guy he was at NEO.

The wife is at the Nurses Building there, go by and say HI to her or anyone else can do the same. My son Brett is in the Math Lab also.

NEO is building a new building for training. They have a new science building in the works, a new remodeled nurses building, and talking about new dorms. Seems like they are really moving forward.

Just for the record NEO had two players for NO in the super bowl in which one caught a TD pass.

Also thanks on all who emailed me or called me. Food getting used to is different. And yes hospital food is not very tasty.

Some thing to note is Health Ins. Industry. Whether you are a Dem or Rep. work needs to be done as now more and more hospital for profit involved.

Everyone have a Great Valentine Day and Jan keep writing in the Message Forum about your state. I don't get there much but great to read about you and your stories. I bet Doody Balls would have loved it there.

Take care,

Johnny

Johnny - So glad that surgery is in the past now!
Paul - You have to know that Jan is going to be just a little bit testy over the thought of cherry blossom's budding when she has yet to thaw out from ice skating with cows!
