Thanks Eric. I knew he'd gotten married, just figured he'd moved away. I remember Jeana Woodhull had a suprise 16th birthday for me at her parents house. Scott snuck a bottle of booze from his dad's liquor cabnet and we got busted with it. Parents were called, lectures were given.. not pretty. I think I was grounded for a month after that.

The news of Michael Jackson's death made me flash back to Badger MS dance and Jaciel Tamez. He danced just like MJ : )

Weren't Jenny Haizel and Jenny Harris big MJ fans too? So many Badger memories, such fun us public school kids had!

I totally remember that dance! He was really good. Last time I saw Jay, he asked me to help him with some music he was writing. That was years ago, but I'm pretty sure he's doing some solo stuff now.

OK you guys are having too much fun here so I have to join in! It's funny how alot of our memories of high school involved alcohol! My son is going to be in 7th grade and I am fearing what lies ahead...more gray hairs!

Some of my memories of high school involved alot of head banging and loud music. I'm thankful I can still hear!

I remember the party at my house Aimee. I also remember my brother and Peggy Skebba's mom got into a yelling match and he called her a b**tch. That was the first and last party I had.

I forgot what year it was but instead of going to homecoming me, Bruce Weisser and a few other people decided to egg cars in my firebird. We got chased by one car through fields in an industrial park.

Shelly Kisch, remember getting suspended for egging Jackie's (forgot her last name, but if you read this I am sorry!) locker.

Lots of memories from the PIT.

I am looking forward to the reunion too. This website is great!!Thanks to everyone who got it going!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone...by just reading all of these posts, I just wanted to thank all of you for pummeling my brain with all sorts of memories that I had previously stored in my 1989 file located somewhere in the basement of my cluttered mind. Ever have a memory that just pops into your mind from high school, for no apparent reason?? For some reason since finding out about this website it's been happening A LOT!!
Looking at all of your pictures, and reading your posts, really makes me happy to know everyone is doing so well!
Don't know if we'll make the reunion, but still wanted to say hi to all of you. Whether you remember me or not, I still wish you all the best! :)

Oooohhhh.. Jeana.. you totally called her out. I was trying to behave by leaving Peggy's mom out of it, but since you brought it up.. if I recall, it wasn't technically Scott's "borrowed" bottle that got us busted. It was Peggy's mom seeing your brother with a beer can. In fact, I don't think we even really drank anything(does that count?),it was more the fact we thought we were getting away with something. Geez.. remember the schnapps at your aunt and uncle house? That was not good. I'm with you, I'm terrified to think of what our children may do. Guess we just need to hope we've done a good job raising them and keep the lines of communication open. Right?
Troy, if you're even entertaining the idea of coming to the reunion, then just come. It will be a night full of little past memories popping into your head. Best part is now we're all old enough to laugh about them!

Troy...I totally miss you! I'm glad to see your "on" the site and would love to see you! I just emailed Pete Rank, we had great times in the cafe senoir year!
Aimee (and Eric)- yes to all things Eric responded to about Scott except he had a boy. He knows about the reunion, site, all that stuff- and as long as he is not out flying, hoping he will join us!
Wendy- I was a huge MJ fan too...remember wearing a cut off glove to church at SFC one day. So we Christianites can get a little crazy too sometimes! I agree- and now another reason I have to make sure Jay Tomez joins us that evening. Jay is a fabulous musician- ast time we talked, he was hoping to work on a CD of one of his most fabulous songs! SO we'll see!

Jeana,

I seem to remember a Christmas Eve party at your house where your aunt flashed me. That was hilarious!!! Your family was a lot of fun. Thanks for cooking me venison all the time too.
Boy, i ate a lot at your house. your mom always let me sample the cake frosting from some work of art she created. is she still making cakes?
Ever hear from jeff saurburg (SP).

Chris,
My family is a little wild but they have calmed down a bit! My mom still makes cakes and does daycare. I would still be cooking venison if I would actually get a deer. We have been skunked the last few years. Actually last year I got an 11 pointer but I didn't shoot it. I was taking my kids out to my parents house before work and this huge buck was crossing the hwy45 overpass on Chestnut. I just had to check him out. He started to run across the overpasss and saw a guy with his dog on the other side...so he jumped over the railing! I saw him hobble away and thought he was OK, just stunned. The next day I stopped after work to show my kids how far he jumped and there he was on top of the hill. I felt terrible. He was huge! If I saw something that big in the woods I would have gotten a terrible case of buck fever!

I have not seen Jeff Sauerburg in years. My mom has sent him letters inviting him to parties but he never responds. He lives somewhere in Fond Du Lac.

Any one know what happened to Carol Kaminski?

jeana,

we get the same deer in our yard all the time. i mean part of the same herd. they go from Ridge Run down through Regner and back. They make occasional stops in my garden when there is one and hit all the neighbors foliage. I've seen some big deer but never an 11pt. sure you wrecked it for everyone!hahaha.

you may actually have to go where the deer are ya know. we haven't missed for the last 15 years and we don't go more than 20 minutes from town. mmmmm now i'm getting hungry. sluuuurp!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. It has been too long since I have been on here. I had to catch up on 8 pages of posts. I guess I got sucked into Facebook more and especially FarmTown on there.

I was so excited to find out we were having a 20 year reunion many monthes ago, but I have come to the agonizing realization that I won't be able to go. Both my niece's first birthday party and my wife's graduation from massage school happen to be the same weekend in August and really the only weekend all summer that anything big was planned. Sucks for me!!! If I lived in Wisconsin this would just be a great busy weekend, but since I live in North Carolina that throws a wrench in the works.

I hope everyone that can go, does go. After 20 years we will all have so much more to talk about and now more similar experiences than we ever did in high school, though talking about High School memories is not a bad thing either. I was looking forward to talking to people I did talk to in high school, but also alot of people I did not.

Hopefully at least I will get to see some pictures and/or video of the reunion through the power of the internet. Have a great time everyone. I will be less of a stranger on here and look me up on Facebook also. You guys rock more than you know!!!

Kevin

P.S. Congrats to Kraig on the soon to be new addition to the Sit-on-a-cow family!! :)

Ok folks, does anyone out there watch the show Big Brother. I must confess I do. I love watching people living in a fish bowl going slowly insane. HA! This season is really relevant. They grouped the housequests together based on high school cliqes. Popular, athlets, brains, and off beats. They have to play as a team of sorts but still as individuals when it comes to evictions.
I just thought I would see if anyone else watches this show. It cracks me up.

TV - what's that?

My TV days consist of Dora, Diego, Wow-wow wubbzy & other fun kids shows. Sometimes I find myself singing the kids songs during the day at work. Crazy - i know. It keeps me feeling young & my co-workers i'm sure think i'm nuts. Oh well -

I'll have to watch the show "Big Brother" sometime & check it out.

I hope everyone is doing well & enjoying the summer. It's going by way too fast for me. Now that 4th of July is here & gone, here comes Class Reunion.

I hope more people say "yes" to coming to the reunion. I have a lot of memories from Middle School as well.

PS - Paula - I love your choice of music you have playing on the website. Nice touch. Those songs really bring back some good memories from High School.

Did someone say the name "Lisa Cessop". I wondered what ever happened to her. If you know her, tell her i said "hi". She used to live in my subdivision when i was little.

Take care to all & enjoy summer.

Big Brother is on 3 times a week on CBS. Sunday, Tuesday, Thurday at 7 PM. Except for tomorrow I think it is on at 8 tomorrow night. Have fun watching it.

Kris,
I know what you mean about the TV thing. I know the entire Sponge Bob theme song! I can't remember the last adult movie I saw at the theater. I saw UP, Ice Age 3 and Night at the Museum 2 recently(great movies even for adults). My kids keep me busy between baseball and soccer along with all the practices. I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Kristina,
I have not watched Big Brother yet. When I do get a chance for "me time" on TV it's Survivior and The Biggest Loser. Real, quality stuff ya know! : )

Jeana,

You know, i actually like Ice Age, Bolt, Cars & other kids movies like that. It's just that at age 3 1/2, he likes to watch the same movie over & over & over again. Kids - you have to love them.

A good adult movie would be nice one of these days. If i could only stay awake past 9:00 PM (LOL)

Lisa - I promise i'll try to stay awake until midnight this weekend.... Promise.......

Hey all! Love the info...just saw Hangover this weekend- very naughty but an absolute hoot! Lots of laughs, a must see if you like raunchy.

Just wanted to say I was touched when I had time to read through the "in memories" section of the site. Nice job to all who are paying their respects by leaving comments.

Almost time to loss that 10 pounds in 30 days for the 20 year reunion.... Our numbers are coming up but still slow so keep the chatter going! Most classes will have 200+ in attendance, we're still only less than 100! Keep emailing me if you have questions, I thank you for that!

there is muggles too which is owned by the Holbrook family. that does have smoking though.
i would say one of these two. atleast there is parking around the area.
