Announcing Our Next Reunions!

The NTE Class of '70 Turns 75!
The NTW Class of '70 Turns 75!

It's hard to believe, but the Class of 1970 is turning 75!

To celebrate this milestone, we are planning SEPARATE
New Trier East and New Trier West reunions --
held simultaneously, in SEPARATE ballrooms, at the same hotel,
on the same day, and at the same time.

We think this will be a terrific opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share memories, and celebrate 75 years of life, friendship, and everything that has happened since we walked the halls of New Trier.
Hotel Accomodations & Transportation
A block of rooms will soon be reserved at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel for classmates who would like to stay at the reunion hotel.
We are also planning to have a Transportation Captain to help coordinate transportation from downtown Chicago to Northbrook. The goal will be to connect classmates who would like to share rides and, if there is sufficient interest, possibly arrange a small bus.

Can We Set a New Record?

Very pleased to announce the publication of my new book:

*HEIDEGGER IN RUINS: BETWEEN PHILOSOPHY AND IDEOLOGY*
(Yale University Press, 488 pages; available @ Amazon.com)

The book calls to mind a remark by philandering philosophy professor, Abe Lucas (played by Joaquin Phoenix), in Woody Allen's pitch-perfect, ivory tower send-up, "Irrational Man": "All the world needs is another book about Heidegger and Fascism." In retrospect, perhaps I should have heeded Professor Lucas's sage advice!!
