Half-recognized names and shadowy recollections were clarified in a lovely experience last night at the reunion. It turns out that I knew some people after all and that they were really nice people. I can't tell you how grateful I am for the generosity of the old classmates that took me under their wings. They made sure I was not lost, helped me find people that I had forgotten I knew, and were lovely to talk to. Thank you.

And thank you to the people that organized this. It was a superb event. The food was great. Venue lovely. I stand in awe of your organizational skills and adaptability. I also thank the people that planted the salmonella in Skokie. I liked Westmoreland better.

My favorite New Trier memory is the Forty Year Reunion.
