Kent passed away today from a two year battle with cancer. I remember when he was on the air at WAIR in Winston while in high school. He had a dream of becoming a renowned DJ and he achieved that dream.

I used to go over to WAIR at midnight and sit on the floor while Kent was on the air. He frequently would come to school the next day a " zombie" ...he was on the graveyard shift at the station. Years later I visited with him in Cleveland at his home.
He lived his dream.
