Our 50th Reunion!

Its been 50 years! We witnessed a history makeing state football championship. We survived some tough times in high school. We had some GREAT times and made lifelong friends. So, why a reunion? I've heard from many people from many different schools that they don't care about what happened in high school. That's ancient history. BUT... our class has have a reunion every FIVE years! Many of our classmates are lifelong friends. Thanks to social media we have re-kindled friendships, but social media can't replace a hug, a tear, laughter from old friends and sadness about those that are no longer with us. If you have NEVER been to a class reunion for the class of 1973, this is YOUR TIME...your time to bring some friends with you and celebrate those that have MADE it to retirement, MADE it in life, maybe even seek out and repair some old wounds!  No judgements, no expectations....just come. 

 

The committee hopes that you will attend and you will help find other classmates to spread the word. We wil start off at JoyMongers Barrell Hall in WInston-Salem Friday September 29 at 6 pm. This event is at one of the Triads best locally owned breweries and is a cash bar. There will be a food truck available.

The main dinner event is Saturday September 30 at Maple Chase Country Club starting at 6-10 PM. This will be a buffet dinner with choice of three entrees. There will be a cash bar and attire is business casual / dressy evening casual. Pre-registration is required as there will be no registrations at the door.

STARTER : Salad with Dressing
ENTREE : Hand Carved NY Strip , Char Grilled Chicken Strip, Manicotti with Marinara
VEGETABLES: Green Beans, Grilled Vegetables
CARBS: Macaroni & Cheese, Roasted bliss potatoes with butter and parsley
DESSERTS: NY Style Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate Mousse Case
BEVERAGE:  Iced Tea and Water

We will have a live DJ and our own high school rock band ODIN will be performing.

We have contracted with Fairfield Inn & Suites , 125 S. Main Street Winston-Salem at a special rate of $122 per night plus taxes and fees. You MUST BOOK by August 31!  The booking code is NFS.
