Carlin really died or was that a joke? I'm serious... i haven't even seen a TV or paper since i left.

i have so much to do; i don't know where to start.

Terri Duncan (McDonald)

Yes, he died. He died of heart failure I believe. He was 70. I really enjoyed him. You know, they say celebrities die in three's, so I wonder who will be next, hmm?

So, when are you coming home? Karen said the next time I come up to visit, we are going to come visit you if that is okay. It probably won't be until Sept or Oct (since we will be going on vacation together in August, and I'll have to have a break from her after that---j/k Karen, you know I love ya).

And, did you see Louie's comment about the cat fight? What are your thoughts?

06/27/08 04:57 PM #531

Louie Luongo

Hey Terri, Kenny started the Cat Fight idea. I just piled on. And yes, I do like to golf.

Gina, Welcome back :) Yes, George Carlin died. I'm sure he's found out by now whether there really is a God or not. You know for an atheist he sure was mad at the God he thought didn't exist. I hope he made his peace before he died.

Sorry Louie for throwing you under the bus and not giving credit where is credit is due.

Hello Dave E.

Thanks Dave for allowing me to network with some old friends I have not seen for 30 years....it is absolutely amazing.....all I can say is OMG!!!!!!
I can't believe I even found this site.......

06/27/08 09:58 PM #534

Louie Luongo

Hey Steve, How did you find the site? I know everyones been doing a great job of spreading the word and one person I know of found it by googling for it. Just curious.

The site is something we'll have for years to come so no matter what you everyone can come here update their profiles and chat with old friends. Best of all you won't have to have the $34.95 gold membership to use it. It is pretty cool to see it grow so much in only two months.

Hey Louie, I got one of those emails from Classmates and I was surfing my way around and saw a message about Tabb79(dot)com......

Lisa Wilson (Kimm)

I haven't been able to get on here for a little while. I gave up on trying to catch up ... something about some mud wrestling and GBU. I'm like Allen ... didn't go to GBU so was a little lost there. Hey Al .... how are things?

I just got back to good ole Georgia (can you sense the sarcasm) after being in Virginia for a little over a week. I saw Jimmy Richardson this morning before I left and told him to get on the webpage

So....

What are all yall doin for the 4th??

Anyone not affected by the $4 gas???

I can tellya, we are a family of "Want to arrive alive" and to this end drive a Tahoe and Suburban,,,

Livin in Wakefield makes that a problem. Seriously, everytime we think of even going to the 7-11 for a hagen-daz fix, we gotta check the tank :(

15mpg sucks...

Have a great 4th !!!

06/28/08 10:20 AM #538

Terri Duncan (McDonald)

Yes, this $4 a gallon definitely sucks, but it is worse for the kids. My poor daughter makes $7.00 an hour, but by the time the govt gets their little bit and she takes out for gas, it doesn't leave much for her to play with, which means mom and dad are back to being an ATM, AND that really sucks. My daughter had a Toyota Camry, but unfortunately totalled it, and when we looked for a new car, she wouldn't even look at anything that wasn't 4 cylinder---good for her.

Actually, we are heading back to VA for the 4th. My aunt and uncle have rented a huge house in Mathews County, and we are having a little bit of a family reunion. Looking forward to it, but not spending the $150 in gas to get there and back!

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tommy,

I've got this gas thing licked. To date, I've only bought one tank of gas (with my own money) above $2.50/gallon. Of course I've been on business travel for the past 14 weeks. Not sure how long I'll be able to keep this up.

On July 4th I'm taking a group to the top of a Colorado mountain in search of elk herds. Most members of my group drew elk muzzleloading tags, which opens in late September. So, we are scrambling to get our act together. Maybe I'll send elk steaks for the reunion cookout.

Hey Jimmy. It was great to see you and catch up. What a small world that you know my folks. It was fun to reminisce. The pics of your kids are nice. Hopefully we will see you when we're there again and meet the spouses.

James Richardson

Hey Lisa,

It was great seeing you too. Fred and Mary Jo are great people. Also your kids are great too. You should be very proud, you did a great job raising them. If I see Lead Foot Lori Ann, I will tell her you said Hi.

Take Care,

Jimmy

Steve, I am glad you were looking for us, that is what is truly amazing...

Tommy welcome back haven't seen you on in a while...

And Jimmy, if you want to change your name on the site from James to Jimmy just log in and go to Edit Contact Info and all references to James will change to Jimmy, like magic :-)

Robbed a 7-11 today to put a 1/4 tank of gas in my jeep...at this rate I am going to run out of 7-11's.. wish they carried more than $20....

Gina Valentine (Stevens)

We are having a small get together on the 4th... we'll have our own special view of the fireworks from our back deck. We can see the Yorktown display off in the distance and then of course there are displays going off all over the place that will keep us entertained... not to mention our own add ons to the merriment... It should prove to be a bit of fun for sure!
Sorta glad i'm back but sure miss Rapid City. There is so much to do there...so much to see and the weather is soooo much milder! I'll be posting some pictures on my profile of some of what we did and saw... My husband bought a video rocket and he and bro in law and son etc.. had a great time setting it off. :)

Gina Valentine (Stevens)

Dave... you've resorted to robbing 7-11s? I hear the Raceway carries more cash on hand... try there. lemme know how it turns out for you. :)

Thanks Dave,

Everybody from school called me James, so I guess I will stick with that. Just a hint, Wa Wa's carry a little more..... Maybe $30+..... LOL
gina, How's it going? Haven't ran into you in a while.

06/29/08 08:43 PM #551

Louie Luongo

James Richardson, How the heck have you been? After high school I started going by Lou. It's kinda fun being called Louie again. Makes ya feel young. We can use all the help we can get.

Hey Dave, I've go the perfect solution for the gas price problem. "Company Gas Card". ;)

06/29/08 09:24 PM #552

Bruce Nozolino

So Gina, sounds like you'd be amenable to a pre-reunion reunion in, say, Sturgis, SD? Would August be too soon? I'll be the guy on the motorcycle (in case you have trouble finding me).

B. Noz.

06/29/08 09:40 PM #553

Gina Valentine (Stevens)

Bruce... I have the tshirt for Sturgis... so I don't have to be there now! and you'll be the guy on the bike? damn! Really?

James... yes, it has been a while since I've run into you; seems Louie Loueye has taken your place of finding me 'round town. I am very glad to see you on here tho as I was wondering if you would be.

Dave: You said you want to make separate threads in the forum... I think that would be a really good idea.

Louie: Are you home yet?
