Children: Katherine (Katie) Lorraine Griffith, born Jan. 26, 1977. Katie has an undergraduate degree from Southwest More…Missouri State University and a Masters of Tourism Administration in Event, Meeting and Sports Management from George Washington University.
Katie previously worked for Maritz (an incentive travel company) where she was able to travel extensively.
She also worked for Andretti Green Racing, part of the Indy Racing League. While there she worked with Danica Patrick, Marco Andretti, Dario Franchitti and others.
She is currently working as Meeting and Event Project Manager for
CITGO Petroleum Corporation and living in Houston, TX.

Steven Michael Griffith, born December 14, 1978. Steven served in the United States Air Force. He now tracks weather sattelites for NOAH. Steven married Emma Lopez in 2011 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They now reside in Falls Church, VA. Steven and Emma are the proud parents of Mason Sebastian Griffith (3/26/12), our first grandchild.

I attended Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana (It was a Bible College when my parents met there in 1927). I graduated from Delta State in the summer of 1968, I moved to the St. Louis area where I taught 2nd grade for 2 years.
I met my husband in 1970 and we were married in June of that year. At the time he was in Military Intelligence in the Army. He served in Ethiopia and Viet Nam.
After my marriage I taught 6 grade for 6 years. I received my library certification from Lindenwood University and then became an elementary school librarian. I received a Masters Degree from Webster University. I retired in 2000 after 32 years in education.
My husband and I are both retired, though I work part time for the St. Charles City/County Library district. I work in both children's and adult reference. I love my job!
I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking and taking cooking classes. Wes and I enjoy living in the St. Louis area. There are many wonderful museums, musical venues and places to visit.
School Story:

I enjoyed being in Spanish Club, working with the Hi-Light staff, being in Concert Chorus and in a couple of school plays.
I made several life long friends and a have many wonderful memories of my high school years.
